Conversion Story:Wanda started life as a carpet fitter's van in Essex. Up for re-homing, a couple from Birmingham bought her and set about making their dream Quirky Van for travel and adventure. The highly skilled folks at SnailVans in Leicestershire created Wanda - a comfy, unique, beautiful and practical van. She was insulated and panelled in birch and her unique LED lighting was fashioned from copper pipes which can be rotated to give directional or diffuse lighting.
The flooring was made from recycled pallet wood. Her cupboards were made from birch, finished in a turquoise blue complimented by colourful water gate values as handles..
The kitchen sink is a recylced French brass jam pan and the splash back was made from straightened split copper pipes joined together with copper nails.
My own life course took a sudden turn and I had the good fortune to come across Wanda. I fell in love with her and she has travelled across the country back to her Eastern roots.
