Selma may be small but she sure is mighty! Need to do some mahi on the road? Grab a refreshing drink from the fridge and pop your laptop on her pull-out table for a dreamy work-from-home setup. Then fall back on the bed and take in stretching views out the side window or rear door. If you want to catch some rays, pull out the awning and recline in her comfy camp chairs.
As a compact camper, Selma’s not only snuggly, she’s also super convenient - easy to drive and economical on fuel. Plus, she’s got a fixed double bed (so no assembling/disassembling) and two huge rear drawers - one for storage and the other with a fully-equipped kitchen! Prepare a delicious dinner on the gas stove then kick back for the night. It doesn’t get much better than summer adventures in Selma!

Note: Selma can be picked up at anytime Friday - Sunday but only at 5pm onwards Monday to Thursdays – a half-day discount would be applied to compensate in this situation. Selma has a minimum 4 day hire for most of the year and 7 days during the summer. She is also pet-friendly but most suited to a small to medium sized dog.

About the Campervan
Location: Selma lives in the Beachlands area of Auckland approx. 30km (40 mins drive) from both Auckland airport and city centre. If you’re driving your own car, it can be safely parked off-road in a quiet neighbourhood while you’re away.
In The Cab: 3 seats in cab up front (three-point seat belts apart from centre seat with lap belt); stereo with bluetooth connection; reversing camera.
Kitchen Area: Inside Selma has an L-shaped kitchen heaps of storage – and even a wine rack! The fridge conveniently opens outwards from behind the sliding door so it takes up less space inside – and makes grabbing a cold one from outside a breeze. Selma then has two generously-sized slide-outs accessed from the rear door; one is the pull out cooking station - which includes a 2-burner gas stove - and the other a large storage drawer. She comes with all the kitchenware and staples (tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil etc.) you need to cook up a storm.
Living/Sleeping Area: The interior height is 1.3m and Selma has a comfy double bed measuring 135cm x 190cm. She's insulated and she's got heavyweight curtains for total privacy. Note: we list bedding and towels as Extras at the booking stage in case guests prefer to bring their own. There is extra storage space next to the bed – a handy place to put your morning cuppa!
Water Facilities: Like all Quirky Campers in NZ, Selma is certified self-contained. There are 25 litre fresh and grey water tanks and hand pump tap and sink in the kitchen area. The fixed toilet is stored under the bed. Selma also has a 12V powered outdoor shower gadget!
Electrical/Lighting and Audio Equipment: Selma has a solar set-up to charge the leisure battery which in turn keeps the fridge and lights going. There are also USB ports for charging phones etc. and a 600W inverter to power laptops and other devices
Type of Heating: Insulated but no other heating aside from cab heater.
Outside: Selma comes with a roof rack and awning – on to which you can add the awning tent (optional extra) to triple your space and provide standing room. Selma also has an outdoor table and camping chairs which are not included as standard in case you want the extra storage but can be added free of charge.
Conversion Story: We bought Selma as an existing Quirky Camper when her previous owners moved overseas. We had been wanting to add to our van family and Selma fit the bill! She's well designed and cosy - and we're sure she'll continue to be popular. – Logan
