Location  Caia lives in Richmond, 15 minutes away from Nelson airport. If you’re driving your own car, it can be parked on the street in front of the property. Caia may also be able to be brought to a convenient Nelson location for pick-up/drop-off by arrangement.

In The Cab  Seats 3 (2 x 3-point seat belts + center lap belt), AC and Bluetooth radio.

Kitchen Area  Everything You Need for the Perfect Meal! Cooking on the road is a breeze – whether you’re making a quick snack or a full campers feast! • 2-burner pullout stove (with 2kg gas bottle) • Spacious sink with electric tap • Two 20L thermo-electric fridges – keep your food & drinks chilled! • Ample storage and all the essential utensils, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery

Like all Quirky Campers in NZ, Caia is certified self-contained, so you can freedom camp in style. • Built-in toilet – neatly stored under the seat for easy access • Removable 25-litre fresh and grey water tanks - enough for at least 3 days for 2 adults! • A solar shower pack or electric shower pack is available as an optional extra.

Power & Heating Stay Powered and cozy year-round - Caia is designed for comfort, no matter where your adventures take you. • Solar panels charge the leisure battery on sunny days, as does the engine when driving to power all your essentials off-grid • Overhead LED lighting with dimmers set the perfect mood • USB-A, USB-C & 240V charging ports keep your devices charged • Wool insulation, cork flooring & diesel heater installed for winter so you stay warm even on chilly nights (please let us know when you book if you want the deisel heater at other times).

Conversion Story Four years ago when i arrrived to New Zealand, I build my first van (Kygo) and traveled around in it exploring all the beautiful places of the country. I loved every part of this experience, first the build where I got to create my own vision and later the exploring of all the gorgeous spots around. One day I found out I could share this experience with others through renting out my van and from there a little sparkle started to expand. When I was thinking about expanding, I started to say out loud that I would do two vans up and in my search for the first, I actually found two identical ones. The first time I turned the ignition on, my childhood favourite song "As long as you love me" started to play and I found her a matching name Caia, meaning blessed love. I now call them the twins Caia & Carwyn.
