Ford Transit T350L 2.4L Diesel. RWD. 3.5 tonne carry capacity. MOT’d until September 2021. Full service history and low mileage for the age. The engine and body are both immaculate. There are no rust patches or scratches. One very tiny dent in the rear driver side panel but I’m being fussy as it’s barely noticeable. I don’t have any record of it, but the van looks like it was resprayed not too long ago. It drives great and has a very poky engine for such a big vehicle.
Our latest conversion was created as the perfect place to chill in comfort and tranquility as well as enjoy an adventure on the road. The layout is spacious and open with a U-shaped social seating area where you can hang out with friends or stretch out with a book. A lot of heart and soul goes into each of our builds to make them truly unique yet practical.
The interior features a light, calming palette with natural woods and fabrics, copper and brass fixtures and a herringbone patterned ceiling. The sliding door has a window fitted, as do the back doors and there is a skylight above the seats for extra natural light.
As you open the side door, you are greeted with a beautiful wood art cupboard door which houses the easily accessible 25l fresh and waste water tanks. The generous sized L-shape kitchen is custom made and features a solid wood countertop with decorative oak inlays, plenty of cupboard and drawer space, a copper tap and enamel sink, a 12v fridge (tucked away in the bottom drawer), a 2 burner hob and lots of countertop space to work on. We’ve also included little features such as handmade leather handles, a reclaimed wood shelf and a hand weaved ratan cupboard door which opens to a generous storage space above the cab.
The seating area includes 2x double USB charging ports (one by the back doors and another by the kitchen), 2x modern Scandi-style wall lamps and elastic shelves on the back doors which really up the cosy factor of this space and make it a great place to hang out. The centre table is made of solid wood. Hidden beneath the seats are ample storage spaces, a toilet on a pull out drawer, the gas bottle store and the electrical cupboard.
We’ve also built in a modest “garage” area which is accessible from out the back of the van. It’s hidden behind another statement wood art piece which is certainly an eye catcher. It’s big enough to store your rucksack and muddy boots after a long walk in the wilderness!
There is no need to worry about running out of electricity on your adventures! The van includes a 240v hookup kit which powers a double socket above the kitchen with built in USB ports. Two large 130AH leisure batteries are charged via a 120w solar panel, a split charge relay (which charges via the van’s alternator when driving) and an onboard battery charger which activates when the 240v hookup is connected.
The living area is heated with a diesel heater which is connected to the main diesel tank of the van so no need to fill up separate fuel tanks!

The bed is easily made by lowering the table into the gap between the seats. There is an extra panel tucked away under the kitchen which fills in the remaining gap to complete the big bed. The back cushions which hang on the walls make up the rest of the mattress. Altogether the bed is a luxurious king size (190cm long and 200cm wide). It is plenty wide enough for 2 adults and a child too. Also when the bed is made, it creates a cosy nook underneath for a dog to sleep in!
