Hi, we are Josh and Harriet from Shropshire running our family business – Cladded Campers! We’ve experienced first hand the incredible freedom van life brings and would love to help others achieve this too!

We have travelled on & off in our van for the past six years and have enjoyed warm European summers and most recently tackled the icy Scandinavian winter! Our vanlife experiences have been some of the best of our lives so we can’t wait to help get others on the road too.

At Cladded Campers we take pride in building bespoke, tailor made Campervans and work closely with you to create a functional and beautiful space suited to your needs. Every aspect of your conversion is fully customisable from the colour of your door fronts to the type of wood used for your worktops! We have experience with functional layouts and the best appliances to use, so if you don’t know where to begin, we can advise you from the very first step.

Our Campers are handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail always with you, the customer, in mind. Building a relationship with our customers is extremely important so we can work hand in hand to create your dream home on wheels.

We complete full conversions from the insulation, to the electrics right down to the door knobs and finishing touches! We’re also more than happy to take on smaller jobs such as fitting windows, skylights and helping with your heating – if you’re struggling with a job on your conversion, we’re here to help!

Commission your own Van Build

When you commission a build with us, you’ll need to provide your own van – but if you haven’t got one yet, we can help you find one! 😊

• Submit an enquiry – you can email us, WhatsApp, call or message and we’ll gather as much info as possible about your ideas for your build. We’ll let you know an estimate for the work & if you’re happy with that estimate, we’ll ask you for a non-refundable deposit of £1200 inc VAT to secure your build slot.
• We’ll work with you to design your van & nail down all the layout and finer details.
• We’ll ask for 40% of the final balance 3 weeks before your start date so we can order your parts ahead of time.
• When you drop off your van, we’ll have a thorough chat through your van design in person to check you’re happy with everything & will take a 30% payment.
• Depending on your design, your build will take anywhere between 2 & 12 weeks. We’ll keep you updated along the way with photos so you can keep up to date with progress.
• On collection, we’ll show you all features & will explain how everything works. Your final payment of 30% will be due on collection too.
• Once you’ve left our workshop, you’re part of the Cladded Campers van family! We are always on hand for any questions you might have as we know it may be overwhelming on collection. We love keeping up with your travels & seeing photos of where your van takes you.

We have also always got vans for rent on the Quirky Campers rental page! Our current rental is ‘Penny’ and she’s available to rent all year round from our workshop in Shropshire. If you’re considering a conversion commission, why not come and meet us in person and take her for an experimental adventure away! The perfect way to see what’s best for you.
