DEPOSIT TAKEN - Cosy, stealthy, low mileage conversion! 2015 Ford Transit Custom (L1H2)

Regrettably selling my 2015 self converted Ford Transit Custom as I am moving abroad. I purchased the van in lockdown in 2020 and spent the spring and summer converting her and I will be very sad to see it go.

The van came in great condition with minimal rust and was previously a courier van so the condition inside the back was good. I have added excellent insulation which includes 35mm Celotex on the floor, Dodo Thermo Fleece wool insulation around all of the walls and ceilings as well as a Dodo Thermo Van liner all over the walls and roof. This makes sure the van isn’t too hot on a summers day and keeps the heat in during winter. A window is installed on the drivers side to let more light in and some fresh air.

The kitchen top is a 26mm thick solid oak bench an the table is also the same. The kitchen includes a large cupboard and drawer a well as a sink, with electric tap, and a two burner stove. There is ample storage above the cab for coats, bedding and more. As well as lots of storage under the bed or kitchen unit in the cupboard / drawer. The bed can comfortably fit two people although might not be ideal for anyone over 6ft (I am 5’11 and have had many a comfortable sleep in there though!). The bed transforms into a U shaped couch in the day with the table on the swivel, we have squeezed in 7 into the van but can easily fit 4 for dinner and games!

Electrics:
For the electrics there is an expansive solar set up with a split charge controller. This allows the 150ah battery to be charged quickly from either the solar panels or the van whilst you drive along. (I have never even been close to using up half of the battery power so far!)
