Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

For sale is our much loved transit camper. A new little one means that the family no longer fits and we are going to upsize. The van started out life carrying photocopiers around, no heavy loads, and has never had a tow bar fitted. I’ve undertaken the conversion over a couple of years and it has progressively developed to make it as comfortable / ergonomic as possible.
The van is excellent as a daily driver (if wanted) as it’ll fit into normal spaces, has an excellent turning circle and is low enough to fit into almost all car parks. It also isn’t overbearing when left on the street / attracting unwanted attention. MPG is excellent for a van of the size and it does not use oil or smoke at all. In our ownership, mechanically it has been excellent.
The interior has taken precedent from a ‘boatmans cabin’ on a canal boat. The L shaped seating makes the van a great place to hang out (far roomier and pleasant than ‘rock n roll’ ((in our opinion)). The pivoting table is quick to put up and makes the van a great place to work / seat 4 for dinner if needed.
The van will accommodate two full size complete mountain bikes in the central space and a 9’ board without resting on the front headrests. The van has been well looked after by the same garage for the last 7 years.
I’ve included all of the specifics below but please let me know if you have any queries or would like to come and view.

Electrical
12v 105aH AGM leisure battery
12v starter battery
Split charge relay with 2no. isolator switches
6no. 2.5w LED downlights on dimmer switch
LED battery monitor
12v port
USB A and USB C (18W) port
MPPT solar controller
80W rigid solar panel mounted on fixed mounting to the roof
12v reading light
2no CO detectors and smoke alarm (battery)
Rear looking camera (to replace mirror) and rear parking sensors
All of the electrical components have been fused and wired (gauge) correctly. The split charger is a recent (2020) addition and the AGM battery is in near perfect condition. The solar panel keeps the battery topped up although I charge the battery using an AGM charger once a month to ensure that it stays in good order. The dimmer is very useful as the LEDs on full can be quite bright for a calm evening.

Heating
5kW diesel heater and 5ltr independent tank
The heater is new 2020 and runs very well. The fuel tube and filter components have all been upgraded. The fixing plate and exhaust system has been upgraded from the standard fittings to ensure that exhaust gases will not leak into the van / effectively pushed away.

Plumbing and Cooking
2no. Campingaz suitcase stoves
Fixed rectangular sink and Whale tap
2no. 10l tanks, one for fresh and one for waste
Dometic 22l cool box – if pre-cooled it keeps ice frozen for 3 days (just)
Portable toilet and chemicals in a bespoke built box
The work surfaces have been designed to accommodate 2no. cookers. We mostly cook outside hence the portable units; however the surface with the stainless splash back has been sized to allow for a fixed two burner unit should it ever need to be installed. The cool box has served our needs well; however, the upgraded battery and charger means that a 12v compressor fridge could be easily installed if wanted.

Insulation, acoustic and woodwork
Dodo sound deadening on all panels (walls and roof)
50mm recycled plastic insulation (walls)
Foil insulation over and taped as a vapor membrane (walls and roof)
Vandalized floor insulation / sound deadening
New ply throughout during original conversion
Woodwork varnished throughout for protection, timber bulkhead (ply) re-instated during conversion for safety.

Mechanical and Bodywork
Van looked after by the same garage for 7+ years
Panels are in good condition, no dents or scratches
All advisories addressed during last MoT inc. 2no. new front tyres (block tread which is good for fields / gravel etc.) EGR recently replaced – clogged due to lack of use during the last 12 months
Engine is excellent and is a ‘good transit’, it pulls well
Few minor surface spots of rust – nothing on chassis
Windows professionally installed

MISC
Key safe
Internal quick release deadlocks for when sleeping inside
Tow bar, 7 pin electrics and relay purchased but never fitted (still in box)
Pictures will not be included
Depending on any offers that we may receive I will include the shore power cable, battery charger and 12v shower.
