RE-REGISTGERED AS A MOTOR CARAVAN WITH DVLA
We have lived in the van for 2 and a half years but are moving onto our next adventure. Please make us a sensible offer, if you have any questions, text me , email me or arrange for a chat. Viewings also welcome to be arranged!
• Super off grid adventure van – handmade to a high spec.
• Loads of kitchen storage
• Massive above cab storage area
• Two sets of keys – we purchased the second one about a year ago at £290. This is super handy if two people are living on board!
• Full Roof rack for anything you like (canoe/kayak etc)
• Dometic side window in sliding door with built in blind/fly screen
• 2 x 100 amp hour (total 200 amp/h at 12v) deep cycle leisure batteries made by Banner (top quality)
• 12 V system with 6 12v ports throughout
-12 v system keeps you totally off grid with no need for campsites etc.
• LED lighting throughout in ceiling and underlighting in kitchen
• Fairy lights for evening chill vibes
• Full 4 inch Celotex insulation to keep you warm/cool
• Excellent solar panel system – 2 x 100 W monocrystalline panels on the roof made by Renogy
• 20A Renogy MPPT charge controller
• 3 Fiamma vents in the roof – bathroom and living room/bed area are Turbo 28’s and have electric fans to draw air or pump air in. The other Fiamma vent is a fiamma 40 to allow maximum light and air flow through the van.
• Dometic double piezo stainless steel hob- model HB2370, incredibly reliable with automatic wind cut off
• 12 v top loading fridge.
• GASLOW refillable LPG gas system- This system can be used in Europe as well as the UK- The bottle is refilled at side of the van just like you would fuel as this is a requirement of refillable bottles in the UK. We have all the adapters needed for different countries. A whole bottle filled in the UK costs roughly £9 and lasts us 2/3 months with a lot of use! The system only runs the hob, if you wanted to install a heating system or heated shower it would easily accommodate this, we never really needed it so didn’t install one in the end, we like to keep it simple. There is also enough room under the back bench to put another bottle if you wanted.
• The GASLOW bottle is in a certified gaslocker from Hamilton Gas with external vent in case of leak. Safety has been a top priority in this build and all equipment is of the best quality.
• 2 Fire extinguishers, fire blanket and KIDDE fire and carbon monoxide detector (again top quality). This is mounted out of sight but right next to the cooker and above the gas locker for extra security.
• Handcrafted Wood log burner made by Glastonbury Burners. High quality flue system all set on a marble harth with stainless steel back and side plates for heat protection.
• Wet room with toilet. A good place to hang wet gear! We used a pump up shower and basic composting system for the toilet which separates ones and twos! There is a wastehog tank that can be put under the van or kept out of the way when it isn’t needed.
• Stainless steel sink in the kitchen, this goes into a waste water tank under the sink cupboard. Again everything is designed to be Simple and bomb proof! We use water containers with taps and boil water when needed.
• Sofa pulls out into a 6 foot double bed with loads of storage space underneath
• large over head cupboards in the kitchen and living room area – 4 total
• Dinning room table that clips on Infront of sofa so you can eat with the door open whilst enjoying a meal!
• Bookshelf at rear of van for all your favourite reads or just a handy storage shelf!
• Bench at rear of van to sit on and remove shoes etc.
• Thermal curtains
• Flooring is carpet tiles- we did this so you can remove and replace when needed.
• Wooden walls and ceiling – all kept regularly varnished and polished
• Chalkboard wall for planning your travels and doodling!
• Her paint work leaves a bit to be desired –
A little lacklustre , she belonged to a decal company so she’s had a lot of stickers and colours! If your not bothered by cosmetics then its fine, otherwise there’s loads of people that spray vans, there’s even companies that will meet you in a field with a portable sprayer and tent!
• The back door opens from the outside only. Its always been this way and doesn’t bother us but would be a simple fix.
Comfortable large sofa that slides out into a 6 ft 1” double pull out bed. Foam mattress within a washable cover. A washable sofa cover is then on top of the mattress cover to ensure it stays clean and tidy.
