Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

I bought this van as I could see with its light and space I could create a peaceful haven to spend time in. I have remodelled it so that it has enough space to do yoga, cook, read and keep enough belongings for the beach, hiking into nature, and also to have friends and family for sleepovers. I’ve used recycled, fair trade eco products throughout (Osmo wood stain, etc). I’ve kept the original gas cooker and fridge as they both work well and replaced the sink with a good sized vintage enamel bowl. There is loads of storage space, including cupboards above the cab, in the kitchen area and underneath the seating area, as well as a super useful storage area where I keep wood in an Indian carved chest, and where there are hooks for coats or towels and plenty of space for shoes, boots, yoga matts skateboards, etc. This van is such a pleasure to drive and seems to attract many smiles and waves as she potters along. She is an old lady but still goes a decent 55 or 60 and her petrol engine is pretty punchy so has no problem going up hills and, at 90,000 miles, she still many more fun years left in her. I’ve spent many hours in this van in the most beautiful places, taking in nature and having this haven to return to after a day of walking /swimming. She has a fantastic little wood burner that kicks out a surprising amount of heat for its size. She has been to festivals and yoga retreats and has taken it all in her stride. She has been to Scotland, Wales and Cornwall – gets me there a little slower than a sprinter but I’m probably less stressed!!! The seating area becomes a good sized double bed with memory foam mattress (6ft plus). This van has such a lovely feel, and offers such a peaceful space. I love her but am selling as I am going overseas, and would love her to go to a good home. They don’t make them like this any more.
