Comes with large roof box (Hapro Roady 4000 left-hand opening box, anthracite black, 31560) and bars both from roof box.co.uk. Extremely easy to take box on and off due to Master-Fit box to bar fittings, no tools necessary
Condition is fair/good due to some cosmetic damage to interior – minor damage to upholstery, scrape on dashboard, glovebox handle and window handle damaged. Few minor scratches/chips to external paintwork.
Aux lead input not working, but will supply with an audio adapter/FM transmitter (FirstE FM Transmitter Bluetooth 4.2 Car Radio Audio Adapter, FM Modulator Car MP3 Player Handsfree Car Kit Support 5V 3.1A Dual USB Ports/Voltage Dete) which allows music to be easily played from phone or other device
Totally unique, city car turned micro camper! Great for weekends or nights away
Bed as described above. Space in the box at the back, in the footwells, on the front seats, and in the roof box for storage when bed is in use.
Insulated black out window covers provided for all windows – basic but does the job, made of foil bubble wrap insulation with aztec pattern material and thick tape. Magnetic strips on the covers can be used if opposite strips attached to windows, or suction cups are provided as another option. I’d recommend keeping the windows open a crack behind the covers at night for ventilation.
When bed is not in use, the mattress and bedding can be stored together in the roof box. Smaller camping essentials can be kept permanently in the box, whilst still using the boot for other things – so you are always ready for adventure.
The boards tick away ingeniously behind the back seats, leaving the car usable completely as normal when not camping. Alternatively, if boot space is important to you, the box and boards can be removed entirely and stored elsewhere (there’s a knack to taking them out, but it’s easy to master). Or you could leave the box in and open with the lid underneath the box, making the boot space near normal.
Some paint chipping from the woodwork and frame, but otherwise in good condition.
Can easily add battery powered fairy lights, portable camping stove, hanging light, and other necessities when you take her home.
Solid wooden box to level out the boot, with two boards coming from it and resting on a frame in the footwell. Head end slightly elevated.
Bed is 170cm diagonally, 137cm length and 108cm wide. I found it perfectly comfortable sleeping on my own, for two people I’d recommend having the boot open slightly to accommodate more length/twice as many feet!
