Luxury VW Crafter LWB High-Spec Off-Grid 2022 Conversion

We designed and built this beautiful tiny home for a five month off-grid tour of Europe, it’s handled everything from -12c in the Alps to +43c in southern Spain. A spacious design with a load of luxuries and a huge amount of storage – it can fit an 8ft surfboard and ski’s/snowboard internally unobtrusively.

– 12V 220Ah Xplorer AGM leisure battery
– 70L underslung fresh water tank plus 25L internal (Ideal for ski touring), 52L underslung grey water
– Insulation: Floor – 25mm celetex, walls – 100mm recycled plastic bottles & 8mm cork, roof – 50mm celetex & 8mm cork
– 25L underslung LPG tank
– 5KW diesel heater, attached to main fuel tank
– Camplux 6L LPG instant water heater
