Vehicle Description

2.5tdi 5 cylinder 2002 VW T4 SWB

Mot until august 2023 (one advisory for lower ball joint, that has a since been replaced)
-107800 miles, this will go up as in daily use still
– Clutch and duel mass fly wheel replaced just after I brought the van in 2021
– Timing belt and water pump replaced at time of last MOT
– Full service of oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter and fuel filter carried out by myself last year, i have a receipt for parts
– Body work in good condition. Starting to show some small bubbles on the front arches, and a stone chip on one of the rear arches. Paint on roof hazy.
– Underside of van and inside of all door has been treated with lanoguard rust protection.

Since purchasing in June 2021 I have:
– Replaced the rear brakes, pads, discs and callipers.
– Van comes with new front brake discs, pads and dust shields. I was going to change these once they needed doing but there is still life in the current brakes.
– 102bhp intercooler added and van remapped to make it much more drivable no struggling up hills!
– Lowered 40mm all round on vogtland HD springs and dampers
– 16” Mercedes Vito steel wheels, powder coated and fitted with falken load rated tyres, loads of tread left on these
– Had some body work done around the arches and filler cap
– Upgraded headlight wiring loom and bulbs to overcome T4 dull light issue
– Aftermarket cruise control fitted and coded in
– Remote central locking kit installed, for all doors
– Upgraded head unit and speakers in top of dash
– Electric window kit fitted
– Front doors and floor sound deadened using dodo mat pro hex sheets
– Installed half length steel roof rack from retro roof racks

Signs on exterior are magnetic so easy to remove leaving no marks.

Conversion Description

We created this simple set up in our work van for RTR campers after the itch for van holidays got the better of us!

We spent 9 days on the NC 500 and multiple weekend trips for which the van has provided a brilliant base, ideal if you are like us and love being outside and want a super comfortable bed to spend the night.

Diesel heater for the colder nights, this has a separate tank to allow different fuel use.

100ah lithium ion leisure battery
Victron 30amp battery to battery charger
Victron MPPT solar controller
120w solar panel
2x usb outlets with power delivery points

LED strip light on tailgate with touch dimmer
Large storage drawer
Unit at end of bed which housed our cooler and a drawer plus storage areas
