In beautiful condition and mechanically sound, Fudge is an 88’ RHD T25 Auto-Sleeper VX50 poptop, with 1.9 watercooled petrol engine and 4-speed manual transmission. A real treat to drive and receives many compliments on the road and in the workshop. Gas cooker and grill, Fridge (gas/electric power), sink with water pump and tank, are all in excellent condition and working perfectly. 95aH leisure battery with battery-to-battery changer installed. 2 original light fittings but fluorescent tubes changed out (energy heavy) for RGBW LED strips with a remote for controlling the dimmer/colours.
The original owner had Fudge parked indoors which kept him in tip top shape, and he still has the original brochures and crockery. The 2nd owner had him for a short period and installed the Rock n Roll bed and complete re-upholstery. We have been proactive in taking care of all mechanicals and generally keeping him in great condition.
Fudge has everything needed and is ready to get out for quick weekend getaways, or longer road trips over the summer holidays. After travelling to Ireland and up to Scotland in 2022, Fudge got us hooked on van life and we are looking to scale up for an extended road trip. Would be great to a new owner who will continue maintain him as the real classic he is.
Next MOT is booked for the 27th of Feb, so he will come with a fresh certificate.
Mechanicals we have done include – new Leisure battery, fuel lines, water cooling pipe (SS), distributor cap and leads, starter motor, exhaust silencer/jointing pipe/end pipe, and hand brake cables.
Spares and accessories include – window insulation covers, parking level, awning and tie down straps, Propex heater (fitted but never used by us), fire-extinguisher, pedal lock, new Fiamma 2 bike rack, gas bottle with additional bracket fitted, spare fan belt/fuel filter/accelerator cable/aerial (can be hard to come by), assortment of fuses and light bulbs.
