Mitsubishi Warrior lwb 2.5 diesel 4×4 with rare and sought after Demountable Tandy pony Camper Pod

4×4 camper, allows you to camp where others can not go. no fear of getting stuck in muddy fields at sites, festivals or when going off grid.

I am 2nd owner, last owner owned this Mitsubishi Warrior since brand new in 2003, double cab, 6 changer cd, maintained all its life, just gone over 80.000 miles, all belts replaced at 75.000 miles (Think it was 5 belts in total including cam belt). Full mot with no advisories. feel free to check mot history, it has a excellent history. recently had new brake discs, pads and shoes, alternator refurbished and battery replaced starts and runs, drives great, interior excellent, full leather interior, UK model, pick up bed was wax oiled from new and originally had truckman top and allow liner, this was replaced with plastic liner to accommodate, camper bed was re-waxed and still as new. Wax oiled underneath

camping pod is well known and sought after TANDY PONY, Its fibreglass in very good condition so no seams or joints to worry about, nice dry and warm. I believe they were built by Boat Builders in the Isle Of White. Weighs approx. 500kg

truck has been all over in this Lands’ End, Brecon Beacons, Yorkshire, North and South Wales, Scotland, Lake Districts and had lots of fun, non-smokers.
Should sleep 3 easily with 2 on double and 1 on sofa, we put sone on back seat of truck so slept 4.
Double bed pulls out over cab and sits either side over table, large bench can also be used to sleep on with storage on small bench and in table space.
Last owner designed and built a pull-out single bed using same mounting points, so table and chairs could still be used, creating storage over the cab and large bench can also be used to sleep on.
Both are fitted and you simply need to choose the layout you need for that night; nothing needs to be removed or added in the cab. Single bed could be removed instantly if required.

Full length window in rear door (door rubber seal could do with replacing, seals readily available on the internet. Easy DIY job or any caravan repairer could do it for you)

Removable wind-up legs to front
Wind Down Legs on rear, but these pods where designed for lower trucks such as Vw caddy etc, so legs will need to be extended or replaced for longer ones if you require to regularly demount pod.
rear door is quite high from ground, so recommend drop down step to be installed (£55 on ebay) or caravan steps will do job.
