The van internally is run from 2x 110ah batteries which are recharged via a split charge relay whilst driving, a 120w solar panel on the roof and can also be charged whilst using the electric hook up
There is also a fiamma roof light and non directional tv aerial on the roof
A side window and 2 rear windows have been fitted with black curtains (rear window curtains are currently getting resized and should be ready soon)
Fully insulated throughout using thermawrap and polyester
The kitchen has 2 cupboards with plenty of space to hold the gas bottle and all cleaning supplies, it’s fitted with a 2 ring gas hob and stainless steel sink. The worktop also extends to provide more cooking space and is easily folded away when not in use. Hot water is available at the shower and the kitchen tap
The van boasts a full size modern shower and toilet room with a thetford swivel base cassette toilet with manual flush (less to go wrong)
The tall cupboard next to this houses the 16 litre LPG boiler, 240v fuse box and 12v shureflo 10 LPM water pump, underneath holds the brand new 43 litre 3 way absorption fridge which runs off 12v, 240v and gas
The 2 bench seats turn easily into a bed using the dining table which is usually stored behind the passenger front seats. Underneath the left bench contains the batteries, electrics and 5KW diesel heater whilst the right bench holds the 60 litre water tank which is filled by an external water inlet
The cab is closed off using a lightweight curtain for extra privacy and there is overhead storage which is a great place to put shoes etc. and there is also overhead cabinets above the rear seats which holds kitchen supplies such as the kettle, plates and bowls
The bench cushions were used from an old caravan and are about the size of a 3/4 double. I also use an extra foam mattress on top for extra comfort
The van itself drives just as it should with no unwanted noises and will take you anywhere having the ever reliable 2.5 turbo diesel engine
The van is ready to go and will definitely be missed, we’re selling as our family is extending and therefore need a bigger one!
