This vehicle has been well looked after throughout its life.
The engine is in very solid condition, starts every time. Starter motor can sometimes stick, but as soon as it turns, the engine doesn’t fail to start. Before I owned it, all engine hoses were replaced, along with a number of seals and caps. All receipts have been retained.
The van has been kept under cover for most of its life. Underneath, the chassis shows very few signs of age. Any signs of corrosion have been quickly remedied and places like the wheel arches are as good as new.
MOT until March 2024. It originally failed on emissions, but after a good service, it had no issues.
The worktops and cabinets are entirely handmade. They are fully supported by white timber frames throughout, making them very sturdy but light, and full of character.
In addition to the furniture, there is also a 12v leisure system, gas for cooking and a 230v hook-up.
The hook-up and gas are as per the original setup, no changes made.
The gas is able to power the 2 burner stove, grill and the 3-way fridge.
The 230v hook-up will run the fridge and the 12v leisure batteries.
There are two 12v 110Ah leisure batteries, which provides plenty of power for a few nights off-grid. They are charged via a split charge relay. They power reading lights for both beds, general lights, the fresh water pump, USB/cigarette sockets and are also able to power the fridge.
There is a table, which matches the cabinet worktops. It simply drops into the socket in the floor with its single, steel leg.
The passenger seat swivels to extend the living area. There is also a movable storage chest with a seating cushion on top.
There are two overhead storage areas. One is above the main bed, a small space for blankets and such. The second is a larger compartment above the driver cabin, big enough for things like camping chairs.
On the driver cabin ceiling, there is a cork pin board, providing a neat way to collect postcards of your travels to keep as memories.
The main sofa, slides down into a small double bed. It is 110cm wide x 185cm long.
Up in the hightop roof there is a pull out bed, 110cm x 190cm long.
