Four Season Camper
Fully off-grid four season camper van of dreams. Carefully insulated throughout, including double glazed side window to maintain heat in the winter, and ultra slim insulation around the bed cut-outs. A Diesel heater has been installed with outlets to the main living space and shower room, enabling the latter to be transformed into a clothes drying room when required. In the summer months, the Maxx Air fan at the front of the van and skylight above the bed provide a really nice through draught to keep the van cool.
Surf van
The van has been fitted with a surfboard rack to fit up to three surfboards securely inside. The lower rack has room enough for a 9-foot longboard, and the two other racks will accommodate boards of around a maximum of 6 foot 4โ. The boards are accessed from the rear and can be stored with fins attached. Ample under-bed storage can accommodate various items of surf paraphernalia and the rear ladder provides a great hanging space for wetsuits. In the winter months, the surfboard rack could easily be utilised for skis or snowboards.
Living Space
The Bed
To ensure maximum living space, the fixed double bed has been installed across the van and cut-outs at either end provide extra room. The bed is slightly shorter than a standard double bed but is the full width. Iโd encourage potential buyers to try before they buy to ensure they will be happy to sacrifice the few inches! The mattress is a standard double foam mattress which has been altered slightly to fit. Above the bed are handy storage cupboards with USB sockets installed inside. The bed also benefits from a roof window with integrated fly mesh and blackout blinds. This window gives the added bonus of night-time star-gazing and provides a cool draught in the summer.
The Kitchen
The kitchen benefits from solid oak counter tops which have been carefully treated to prevent water marks and damage. There is ample storage in the form of one large cupboard under the hob, a large drawer for utensils, a full height pantry cupboard and cupboard under the sink. Additionally there are slim overhead cupboards for extra storage above the kitchen. There is a dual ring integrated gas hob which is connected to a gas cylinder accessed to the right of the sliding door. The kitchen sink is stainless steel and has been fitted with an integrated liquid soap dispenser, integrated drinking water tap with filtration system, and a standard tap for pot-washing. There is a generous fridge to the side of the sink which is ideal for long trips away from supermarkets.
The Living Room
Seating is a comfy bench seat with a bespoke washable cover. The bench seat lifts up to provide access to the hot water tank. The solid oak dining table pulls out from under the bed on a heavy-duty mechanism and is disguised as a drawer when not in use. There are USB ports to the left of the seating area and a plug socket at floor level. Underneath the bed is a dog sleeping area with room enough for a Golden Retriever or two smaller dogs with its own integrated lighting.
The Bathroom
The bathroom consists of an ultra-compact heated shower and wooden bench for changing/storage. For off-grid adventures, the bench lifts up to reveal a composting toilet. The fan in the bathroom provides ventilation. When not needed, the bathroom makes a very handy drying room for wetsuits and soggy coats.
The Garage
To the rear of the van, the under-bed storage houses the 100L water storage tank, above which is the surfboard rack. To the right there is access to the electrical systems and fuse boxes. Hooks to the rear door keep hoses and cables tidy and out of the way.
The Roof Deck & Solar Array
There is a ladder to the rear of the van that leads up to the roof deck. This deck is fantastic for checking the surf, or enjoying a few beers at sunset. Beyond the roof deck are three 160 watt solar panels which provide enough energy to support the off-grid life in summer.
Extra Details
This camper is a real head-turner. It has recently been fitted with four brand new all-terrain General Grabber AT3 tyres with brand new Rogue Alloy wheels. The van has mountain vinyl graphics to each side. The bodywork is in excellent condition and any small spots of rust have been regularly treated and sealed. There is an awning rail fitted to accommodate a sliding awning. Interior warm dimmable LED lighting strips have been placed under the cupboard edges and run through the ceiling cladding. Bespoke jungle-print cork fabric roll-up blinds have been fitted to the kitchen window and bulkhead window. Additionally there is a matching magnetic fully insulated blind to go over the large side door window. The camper is equipped with a 4G aerial to the roof which gives the option of off-grid Wi-Fi for Netflix evenings. The van also benefits from a rear reversing camera and has had additional side and rear door locks professionally installed for extra piece of mind.
