Roof
– Skyline Aurora pop top with panoramic canavas. The roof is put up/down via a locking mechanism in the ceiling of the cabin. Two turns of a key and push – no straps involved. Up in 10 seconds, down in 1 minute.
– Fitted by a company personally recommended by Skyline (Xtremevan)

Power
– Renogy 175W solar panel
– Renogy 100Ah Lithium Ion battery. You will not need to replace this, unlike a lead-acid battery
– Renogy DCC30S 30A DC-DC charge controller. Both the starter battery and the leisure battery are kept charged by both the solar panel and by simply driving the van (via the alternator)

– LED lights all round
– 19l Dometic fridge. A quieter and more efficient compressor fridge does not exist.
– 240v via Bluetti portable battery/inverter (stored in cupboard, available through wall outlet)

– 20l freshwater and 20l greywater
– Shurflo water pump with Fiamma accumulator

Gas
– Portable stove with snap-on hose. Portable canister at the rear of the kitchen unit. The whole thing detaches with ease to allow outdoor cooking.

I am extremely fond of this van. Apart from the roof (the pièce de résistance) I designed and built every part of it over the course of 10 months. We have been to France, Italy, Switzerland and Belgium… and a bit of Cornwall. It runs very smooth and is a pleasure to drive. The only reason I am selling is because I am moving to London and will have a lot less time to make use of it, so this sale is with a heavy heart.
