Ford Transit T430 2.2 TDCi Duratorq 133 BHP High Roof XLWB [Extra-Long Wheelbase] RWD [Rear Wheel Drive] Minibus
I bought this ex-MOD van during lockdown as I thought it was the absolute perfect van to convert into a camper (I still do!). Needless to say my plans changed (I ended up going sailing instead) and I put the van into storage, so now she’s up for sale.
It’s the biggest Transit you can get; important for me as I’m 6’2” and I’d planned to put in a full size double bed.
It has air conditioning and cruise control, neither of which are standard but both are wonderful options to have if you’re driving any kind of long distance. It has a 6 speed gearbox and isn’t speed limited, and I’ve had the van downplated so that it can be driven on a regular driving license.
The bodywork is in excellent condition. Passed MOT with no advisories, valid until 6th of July 2024.
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be taking a trip around the UK and would be happy to deliver the van for a viewing.

Update 06/08/23 – I’ve also found from storage a diesel heater and dodomatt sound deadening and thermo insulation roll which I had planned to use in the conversion. These will be included
As you can hopefully see from the pictures, I have taken 15 rear seats out of the minibus and also replaced the rather uncomfortable double front-passenger seat with another single drivers style seat which is much more comfortable.
I replaced the rear portion of the flooring with ply wood and have taken off the liner from the inside ready to convert.
I left in 2 of the belted seats in the rear with the intention of creating a 4 berth, 4 belted seat campervan.
