Due to financial difficulties, I have made the sad decision to sell my newly converted campervan Bumble. I will consider offers.
I originally bought Bumble to convert and travel as well as hire out during times when it was not in use and the layout has been well thought out to accommodate both these requirements.
Unfortunately, during the MOT recently, it was found that the factory fitted Peugeot air suspension system requires repairs. These are beyond my current means, and I have included a costing from the garage where the MOT was done. I have reduced my original price for the van by £3000 to accommodate the repairs. Bumble was originally an ambulance and has all the paperwork from them and the previous owners.
Bumble has been self-converted to be off-grid as well as being plugged into mains power. The electrics are neatly concealed and accessible in a cupboard near the sliding door. The system consists of a 100W Solar panel with MPPT charge controller and a 140AH battery. There is a split charge relay which allows the battery to be charged while driving as well as a charger allowing it to be charged when the mains power is connected. There is a mains power connection socket at the back of the van and the mains lead comes with the sale of the van. There are 12v and mains connected USB sockets as well as 2 mains sockets to allow charging and use of all devices. There are 6 downlights in the ceiling of the main cabin with the shower light on an independent switch. Additionally, there are strip lights along the ceiling to provide a warm glow when the main lights are not in use. Also 2 bedside lights with USB connections provide light near the bed. A 12V TV with DVD player above the kitchen sink gives you the opportunity to catch up on your favourite series or watch a movie on a rainy day.
Bumble has a sizable kitchen space with the fridge freezer, 10L gas locker and Trauma water heater concealed behind gloss white cabinets. There are also multiple pull-out drawers allowing storage for all your kitchen supplies and utensils. A 2-burner hob sits above the gas locker with ample counter space to complete food preparation and the kitchen sink near a large window has a stylish brushed brass pull out tap. The 40L chest fridge freezer is accessible on a pull-out tray and can work on 12V as well as mains power.
Between the 2 kitchen counters is a full-size shower with hot and cold running water and a concealed portable chemical toilet. The hot water is heated by a 10L Truma Ultrastore gas electric water heater and the water is supplied from 2 x 40L Aquaroll tanks connected to the outside of the van. A 38L Aquaroll Wastemaster tank collects all the wastewater runoff coming from the shower and sink. The bidet style brass tap allows a strong water pressure while shutting off when not in use to conserve water. Next to the toilet is a storage compartment for all the necessary toiletry bits.
Beyond the kitchen is a large seating area either side of cabin with windows all around that provide light and views of whatever beautiful surroundings you might find yourself in. I wanted to keep as many windows as possible to not feel enclosed and allow in as much light as possible. All the windows have blackout curtains on them for the nighttime and all the windows except the rear doors are tinted. The seating is comfortable with a removable table and can quickly be converted into a double bed. Both the benches have a large amount of storage and the space between the seats can be used under the bed when it is set up.
