ROSIE – self converted off-grid camper

Rosie is a uniquely designed and lovingly self-built camper. Perfect for exploring the UK and Europe with a calming, cosy space for you to relax. The furniture is all handmade from plywood and coated in varnish. There is a super comfy static double bed with a memory foam mattress, I have mostly used the van solo but this comfortably sleeps both me and my partner. There is a pull-out table at either side of the bed (one for indoors one for outdoors) which is perfect for brewing your morning coffee.

Fully sound deadened and insulated, with the floor and ceiling fitted with smooth spruce cladding and carpeted walls. It has a kitchen unit with shelves, three spacious draws, two cupboards and has loads of storage under the bed for any large equipment e.g. camping chairs and BBQ. There is a sink with handmade copper tap, this works on a foot pump system so you never have to worry about running out or power. I also have a portable 45L fridge/freezer that can be included for free (RRP £371). Everything has convenient and secure fastenings to stop things moving about while driving.

It has lots of sockets, UBS ports, and spot lights. There is a leisure battery and solar panel giving you an endless source of power for a true off-grid experience.

Rosie has brand new upgraded 2-way coaxial speakers so the sound system is great quality – a must have for all that time on the road! Recent works also include brand new battery, new central locking system with 2 keys, complete turbo system, drive shaft, wheel bearing, central heating control system, 4x glow plugs, full underseal to protect chassis, exhaust, DPF clean, gearbox mount, ABS sensor, rear break pads, bump stops and 2x lower arms. No expense spared getting this van in top condition. Only reason for sale is I need a smaller van.
