2003 VW T4 888 Special 2.5 TDI, SWB, diesel, 5 gears, cruise control, electric front windows.
Engine condition good. We’ve kept up to date with servicing (last done Feb 2022) and MOT’s. We replaced the timing belt and water filter in June 2022.
Next MOT due by 31st October 2023. The advisories mentioned on the MOT have been carried out. Front and rear wheel alignment done 11/7/23. Rear brake pads replaced 10/8/23. We have all the paperwork history including services, MOT and work.
This van has the unique advantage of having moveable rear seat unit on rails. This allows you to choose two different seating positions, either fully at the rear (only one seat belt available) or just behind the front seat (two seat belts available) which is ideal for those travelling with small children as they are easily reached from the front seats and allows the safe storage of any loose luggage behind the rear seats. The entire rear seating unit can also be removed completely via the rail system which enables the van to be used to move furniture or other items around.
The van’s bodywork has a few age related marks here and there, including a few small areas of rust (cosmetic only) on the front wheel arches and fuel flap.
The van is a great green colour with matching green roof.
There are 4 travelling seats with the front passenger seat being a captains seat.
It also comes with a removable tow bar and electrics allowing for the easy attachment of a trailer or bike rack.
There is a side rail for attaching an awning (an awning is included with the van if you want it).
This is a 4 berth and 4 seater camper van with pop-top roof (with sleeping platform and mattress) and a rock-n-roll bed.
The campervan was professionally installed by Reimo in 2003.
