Ford transit 350 LWB high top jumbo
So the good: Done a lot of work to the van both mechanically and inside. It has had a new turbo, new brake pads, new tyres, new batteries and new alternator in the past year and comes with an MOT until mid 2024 currently sitting at 143,236 miles and starts first time every time. Runs super smoothly now all mechanical kinks have been ironed out and have had no problems with it since!
The bad
– as you can see there are a couple of small minors on the MOT
– The brake discs will need replacing at some point and the brake pipe on the front offside needs some work done to it
– There is a small oil leak but I personally haven’t seen it and can’t find where anything is leaking from and it doesn’t haemorrhage oil at all
– Rear doors could do with a proper aligning but do shut and seal
– Some tiny patches of surface rust on the paintwork but the chassis is absolutely solid and nothing that can’t be patched up with some hammerite as it is just surface rust no proper corrosion at all.
The conversion was originally done professionally by a cabin building company. I have since done a lot more work to it myself being a carpenter in the past the work is all of good standard.
