Nissan NV200 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine, 5 speed manual gearbox realises 55 mpg even when fully loaded. Timing belt changed at 70K miles present milage 96K. Engine oil changed every 5K miles. Mechanically perfect and drives well. Body work is in good condition. MOT due 16.01.2025. The 4.5 meter long van can be parked in a standard car parking space. The conversion has recently been completed with the installation of a new 2000 Watt (pure sine wave constantly rated) inverter, 900 Watt Microwave oven, and Outwell Coolbox. The van has been fitted with a new commercial grade insulated/ acoustic carpet and the cupboards have been vinyl wrapped.
The conversion has been designed to allow for off grid weekends for 2 (130Ah deep cycle leisure battery and automatic split charge relay) and longer breaks for a family of 4 (installation of 4 safety belted seats) with the use of the large drive away Outwell awning that is in immaculate condition.
The van has been insulated on the floor, walls above the wooden clad ceiling. The exterior roof surface has been painted black to absorb the heat from the sun. This has resulted in a van that is really warm and snug. The 2000W inverter supplies a 2000W electrical heater in the winter to maintain the temperature of the van allowing for 12 months of the year camping adventures. Ventilation within the van is provided by a 280mm Fiamma roof vent located above the work surface to deal with cooking steam, condensation and smells.
1 cabinet have been installed to house the 900 watt microwave, coolbox and fresh and waste 10 litre water containers. An Oak coloured worktop has been fitted to enable a sink and water tap to be installed. An adjustable Oak coloured demountable table has been fitted. A seconded tambour cabinet has been installed to create a useful locker for bedding and clothing items.
The camper is supplied with insulated window coverings to front and sides windows. A bespoke rock and roll steel framed bed with 2 seat belts has been installed with spreader plates. This creates a double bed when in bed mode (6ft long and 3.5 ft wide). The rock and roll bed has been installed to maximise the living area within the van. A vinyl wrapped headboard has been installed between the living area and diving and passenger seats to provide a surface for a 1000 Watt electrical heater, double sockets and a battery meter. A 130 Ah leisure battery has been located beneath the drivers seat and connected via a split charge relay to the vans alternator. The leisure battery can power the electric heater and microwave oven. Two 12 volt LED lights have been installed in the ceiling over the kitchen and sleeping area. The living area of the van has been carpeted with commercial grade carpet tiles. A personal seascape painting has been installed to decorate the van’s wall.
Additional storage has been provided by the installation of a 320 litre top box which comfortably accommodates the Outwell drive away awning and carbon fibre poles in transit.
1 Double bed within the van that measures 6 Ft long by 3 Ft 5” wide. There is sufficient space within the drive away Awning for 2 additional inflatable beds.
