This lovely van has been handcrafted using a cohesion of sustainable products, locally and fair trade sources, using recycled and sustainable sourced wood,fabrics from India for the upholstery and curtains and all the braid and hooks, coconut buttons etc, are from fair trade companies or local artisans; I’ve used Osmo eco wood stain and reinsulated 50% using sheep’s wool. Floor very well insulated so no cold feet in the winter!!
The antique French Jam bowl for a sink and home made copper tap; foot pump for the water and waste water goes underneath the van, Vintage little cooker and grill, new gas bottle, and new hand made very comfy bed cushions, ( these haven’t been slept on ), Plenty of storage under the bed and in the cupboards. Lots of convenient shelves for books and special treasures Loads of light but plenty of privacy, Walk through to the cab , ( or a climb over !) and new wood burner from Glastonbury burners with copper reflector on the back door and woodstore under the burner. Three solar panels go all through the dark winter days ,2usb sockets 12v charger,6 led lights on the ceiling, ,cosy and peacefully beautiful in the evening with fairy lights and soft glow from the fire ,Ventilation from the small horse box window in the back door ,This van has been extremely warm in the winter and kept cool on the warmer days ;Comfortable and spacious and well designed . Plenty of space for extras like toilet or plug in fridge , This van has a wonderful feeling encapsulating the essence of nature , colour and calm , with the attention to detail makes a wonderful off grid home or holiday van and has to be seen to be appreciated .I am open to reasonable offers.
