Review: Steve is an absolute legend

We had the bad luck of our fresh water pump deciding it didn’t want to work in the middle of a long trip. However there was good luck in this as we were driving south past the Yorkshire Dales and OG camper co. We called Steve in a bit of a panic since we still had about 10 days before we planned to be home and asked if he could take a look to see if it was something simple or was it a bigger issue. Even though he was working on a different job, and had family obligations he made time for us the next day. He took the time to test the whole system, and explain exactly what he was doing the whole time. In the end it turned out to be the pressure sensor switch which he said was fairly common. Then came the amazing part, even though he had been busy the day before he took the time to source a new switch, and a new pump just in case. It turned out the pressure switch he was able to source was not a match to our pump. After a very open and transparent conversation we decided that replacing the pump would be the best option to keep us going. We then got to sit back and watch Steve do his magic and fit this new pump in to our existing setup. In the end we had a high quality pump installed and everything looked like it had always been there. Steve’s understanding of camper van systems is amazing, and we highly recommend reaching out to him. On top of all that he is just a really nice bloke!
