Mechanically this van has been incredibly reliable over the last 4 years of ownership, causing me no problems. With only 144,000 miles on the clock (rising with light use) she still has plenty of adventures left in her. Additional features of the van include a reversing camera, cruise control (perfect for long drives!), air suspension on the rear axle, a TVG door lock system (photo below, for the sliding and rear doors. Locking and un-locking the doors individually using the fob for maximum security). An inbuilt tracking device also adds piece of mind knowing where the van is at all times.
The van has been remapped to 190hp and is fitted with BF Goodridge off road tyres, with an additional spare tyre too. Also comes with a spare key and fob.

It’s time to sell my beloved off grid campervan Penelope.
I converted her in lockdown 2021 and have loved living off grid in her ever since. I’ve travelled much of the British Isles, and have also been on an epic trip down to France, Spain and Portugal. I have put a lot of time, energy and thought into the functionality of the layout, ensuring everything for full time van life has its place. Alternatively would be an ideal weekend camper!
The kitchen has a beautiful Belfast sink, a oven, grill & hob, super for being able to cook anything you would in a house, as well as a 80 L fridge and plenty of storage with 7 deep drawers. The thoughtfully designed drawers and cupboard provide a space for all of the essentials without them moving around in transit. The shelf space above the sink is ideally situated with space for herbs & spices.
The living area has a very comfortable seating area, spinning passage chair which opens up the front cab space and 2 windows (one which can be opened) to enjoy the view where ever you may be. A large spinning table is perfect for eating dinner with friends, or working from home!
The bedroom area at the back is separated with a curtain to allow for maximum privacy. Ample storage on the left hand side for clothes, a beautiful picture wall (all pictures were taken on adventures in the van across 5 different countries!). As well as a large sky hatch which enables a huge amount of light fill the space and to enable access to the roof to enjoy the stars! The bed has a standard double mattress with the dimensions 137cm x 190cm.
390ah of lithium batteries, along with the 520w roof mounted solar panels allows for total off grid living, having no issue with power even during the winter months. I always had plenty of power for very comfortable living, using the lights and charging my devices without any worry. The batteries also are charged while the engine is on as well as with a 240v plug in power point.
The built in shower room, compostable toilet and capacity to fill the tank up to 175 L of water are great additional features which allow for living without relying on the grid or any external facilities.
The van also has a WiFi capability (using a sim card and an antenna)
The van is incredibly well insulated, with a diesel heater that certainly keeps it super cosy in the cooler weather.
The large boot space at the rear of the van allows for an excellent amount of space to store what ever you may need for your next adventure.
