95% finished.
So, why only 95% finished I hear you ask. I am a campervan converter and this has been a slow burner project whilst doing other work, I now have customers waiting and I need the space in my workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to personalise your new van with curtains, seat/bed foam to your own comfort needs, upholstery and a chance to get the paint out and add your own colour or leave it as it is, its up to you. I have done all the hard work so you get to do all the nice things to make it your own!
To summarise the camper needs
-rear curtains (these could be material with magnetic fixings)
-2 side window curtains
-a bit of painting if you want to add more colour
-seat /bed foam and upholstery
That’s it and it’s ready to rock!
Brand new professional exterior paint, full re spray and colour change completed 28th August 2024.
This is a white van, well , not anymore! It has a brand new £4500 respray and has only been out side for approximately 45 mins for the drive from the spray shop to my workshop. Since then it hasn’t seen a drop of rain or bird poo!
This van is completely rust free, dent free and scratch free. I have detailed photos of the complete respray process if you wish to see them. It’s a beautiful colour and not as grey as the pictures make out. In fact its official colour code is RAL 7031, a light bluey grey.
Insulation
This is an extremely well insulated van.
Subfloor with treated 25mm battens, 25mm PIR board (celotex) Underneath all of this, the floor has two coats of rust protection paint, not that it needed it but done as a precaution.
Panels have been sound deadened.
Thick sheeps wool throughout, 40mm PIR board in the ceiling and vapour barrier thought out.
Insulated bulk head
Comes with extra licence plate on board with lights for towing
