Full service history and records

Diesel engine.
6 gear manual gearbox.
Bodywork condition very good, with only a few small dings and marks.
Engine and mechanical condition is excellent, with no issues problems. It has been well maintained through its life with regular servicing and maintenance.
This was my first campervan conversion, and all of the planning, design, and building has been completed by me. My main career is as a research scientist but I also have good experience with carpentry and furniture building so able to build to a very high standard throughout which I’m exceptionally proud of! After it was finished I spent 3 months travelling around Europe, living very comfortably in it full time, but have now reluctantly decided to sell it while it’s still in an (almost) newly converted condition. Because I enjoyed the process so much I intend to use the money to start work on a second campervan. All the current paintwork has been touched up, sand swept out, and small improvements made throughout so it’s back to looking nearly new again.
If you run an MOT check online (reg AK61 YHY) you’ll see a recent failure due to rust underneath the van, which after many hours of my own work and over ยฃ1500 of welding, is now completely sorted. It passed the MOT retest with zero issues, and I can show all the photos of this process and explain in detail all the rust proofing which should prevent any further problems.
I kept good photo records throughout the build process so you can see behind the walls, and will be completely open about anything you would like to know. If you would like more specifics, to arrange a video tour or an in-person viewing, or have any other questions please get in touch.
KEY FEATURES:
Custom built-in fitted kitchen and wardrobe cabinets with plenty of storage space, with soft close cabinets and drawer runners, stylish rattan cane door panels for ventilation, and all painted in a warm vibrant green/blue colour.
An adaptable pull out kitchen unit allows the choice of cooking outside on the portable double burner camping gas stove, or the option to move inside for those rainy days. Stove unit and gas bottle are not fixed for better flexibility. Please note the included stove has had regular use but still works perfectly, and is a perfect fit for the designated space, but you could easily replace it with a new or different similar size one.
Beautiful solid Atlas Cedar wood countertop which retains the natural live edge and grain pattern.
Tile effect, water resistant kitchen backsplash is highlighted by the dimmable under shelf lighting in warm white.
Full sized sink with a nicely pressured flexible cold water tap and 20L fresh water tank under the sink along with a 10L grey water tank.
Dometic CRX50 50L compressor fridge with movable shelves and a small removable freezer compartment.
A 175W roof mounted solar panel charges the 150Ah AGM leisure battery, providing more than enough to keep the battery completely topped up. In addition the leisure battery can also be charged by the 18A DC-DC charger while driving, and by the 20A mains charger when plugged into any power point such as those commonly found on campsites. This mains hook up also allows the use of two 3-pin UK plug sockets and USB charging points mounted inside for any 240V appliances you may need.
Leisure battery life is completely dependent on usage and temperature, so difficult to give exact numbers for. For example – in warm temperatures, with a full fridge running, using evening lights, and charging a phone, the battery runs down by about 10-30% overnight. This then fully recharges back up to 100% within about 1-2 hours of the sun rising, and even faster if you are also driving. The battery never drops below around 90% during the day even when charging multiple USB devices. In cloudy /dark weather this is obviously reduced, but I never had any issues or worries about power consumption, and this set up should be more than enough for your needs but could also be expanded.
The main electronic control panel features a smart battery monitor, dimmable light switches, fan control switch, USB-B, USB-C, and USB-C fast charge sockets all in a convenient central location.
