Volkswagen T28 Transport Startline TDI
Immaculate condition 2021 VW T28 Diesel Transporter Campervan, with a bespoke luxury conversion and very low mileage and MOT until Nov 25.
The conversion was carried out by a professional local company and offers a high spec finish. Includes a full kitchen, with double gas ring hob, oven and grill, sink , fridge/freezer, and plenty storage. The van is heated by a diesel heater and controlled via a digital panel, which was more than powerful enough for cold Scottish winter trips.
There are 4 belted seats – two in the front, with the passenger seat being on a swivel base. The two rear belted seats are on the roll n roll bed.
The van sleeps 4 in total – two on the comfy rock n roll bed downstairs and two in the cosy pop top with mattress. The pop top is unfastened at the front and easily lifts up with the handles and is on gas struts to push it to it’s full height. The pop top has zip windows, which is perfect for sunrises, sunsets and stargazing.
There is built in LED strip lighting in the pop top, controlled by a remote and can be set to a different colours and modes.
The campervan has a leisure battery and also electric hook up to power it whether you are off grid or at a campsite. There are USB points throughout the van as well as 240v sockets. Switch lights throughout and also window coverings to use at night. The Power Management System is controlled by a small panel, showing the amount available in the leisure and vehicle battery, turns on the electric tap, water level in the fresh water tank
There is a hook on table for use inside the van, though we also have an outdoor table and chairs we could include if interested.
The current gas bottle is included and is secured in the rear of the boot in a gas safe vented locker.
The leisure battery charges fully in approx 20 hours when hooked up. The leisure battery will charge when you’re driving thanks to the relay switch, begins to operate after 30-40 mins of driving.
The campervan has never been smoked in or had pets in and always been extremely well looked after, both mechanically and cleanliness wise, we have had the van since new when the conversion was completed in early 2022 and it’s been a joy to drive and own.
