Babka started life as a fully serviced and managed fleet vehicle moving laundry round Sussex. It was first lovingly converted in 2017 and then has again been re-built and fully repainted before going to a new home by the current owners. It’s a luxury, hi-tech camper van that we’ve loved and will miss. Since then she’s been all over the UK: from the heights of the Scottish Highlands; right down to the beaches of Cornwall. She’s given us incredible memories.
As a fleet vehicle, Babka had low-impact driving, and excellent ongoing maintenance. She’s just had a major service before going to a new home, including her Service B completed by Mercedes and has a Full MOT valid until 5th June 2025. She’s also had a full external polish and newly sprayed black alloys. She’s a dream to drive. Manoeuvrability is great thanks to the reversing cameras. And getting there with passengers is a breeze thanks to 4 comfortable, belted seats and an all-singing built in entertainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and DAB radio.

CONVERSION DESCRIPTION
Inside there’s attention to detail with purpose built cupboards, a fixed full-size double bed, purpose made roll-up linen blinds with leather trim. All of the woodwork, electrics and vehicle have just had an update along with a fresh paint so she’s ready to go to her new home. There’s a sizeable garage to the rear that’s capable of taking all the equipment you need for adventure (including enough head room for bikes, with wheels removed and skis/surfboard if you remove the magnetic access panel to under bed cabinet) or additional campers . The van is incredibly secure and suitable for parking anywhere thanks to the deadbolt slam locks fitted to all doors.
It’s been important for us to have an easy to live in van, so we have installed hot water, a toilet, a rear outdoor shower, plenty of storage, solar panels, oven, gas hob, fridge (including a freezer shelf). Temperature control is easy given the great insulation, ceiling fan and very effective Truma Vario eco heater with thermostat. Dining and hanging out as a 4 is super comfortable thanks to the swivel bases fitted to the front driver and passenger seats, in addition to the full size double rear passenger seats. The full-size double fixed bed makes sleeping as comfortable as it could be at home (but you’ll need to get a new mattress). We also left space in the cabinetry for a laptop so that you can watch movies from the bed. It’s also easy to travel for long periods of time, or even work in her thanks to the tech: in-built WiFi with aerial, and loads of USB charging points and sockets throughout. Thanks to the solar, water tank and large underslung LPG tank, we’ve been off-grid for a week or more with ease.
