Conversion Description

For Sale: “Sunny” the Partially Converted Campervan – Your Dream Adventure Awaits!

Meet Sunny, a 2014 Ford Transit LWB High Roof campervan designed with potential and comfort in mind. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or dreaming of full-time van life, Sunny is the perfect companion for all your adventures. With most of the heavy lifting done, she’s ready for you to make her your own.

This is my fourth campervan conversion, so rest assured, you’re in good hands. I’ve put great care into ensuring safety, functionality, and quality at every step of the process. I’ve been living in Sunny since March, using it through both summer and winter. It kept me warm in the winter and cool in the summer, fully meeting my needs, even without a shower or fresh water system in place.

Key Features:

Powerful Solar Setup: A 410-watt solar panel on the roof powers two 110-amp deep cycle batteries, managed by an MPPT solar charge controller. Equipped with a fuse board, two USB outputs, and an inverter (yet to be tested).

Top-Quality Camping Fridge: Includes a premium 65-liter fridge, valued at nearly £500.

Diesel Air and Water Heater: Perfect for heating and a great start for completing the water system setup.

Fully Insulated: 5mm Kingspan, bubble insulation foil, and soundproofing keep the interior cozy.

Roof Vent: A roof vent has been installed for ventilation.

Extra Electric Lines: Spare electric lines run along the van, providing the flexibility to attach additional electric attachments.

Interior Highlights:

Stylish & Spacious Design: The interior is beautifully decorated in beige with lightweight materials to maximize weight capacity.

Ceiling Finish: Stunningly cladded ceiling with integrated ceiling lights for a cozy ambiance.

Smart Storage Solutions:

Seating area with storage beneath.

Ample storage under the bed—enough space for a pushbike.

A small rear drawer and a thoughtfully designed kitchen with plenty of storage.

Kitchen Area: Features unique design elements and comes with extra materials, such as paint and stick-on tiles, for your finishing touches.

Double Bed: The bed is 1.90m long, 10cm shorter than standard. Ideal for someone a little shorter, especially when factoring in pillows and bedding.

Seating Area Upholstery: The upholstery for the seating area is yet to be completed, and the current fabric is neatly tacked in, giving you the freedom to choose your own style or finish it as you wish.

Sleeping Nook: Cozy sleeping nook by the back doors, 1.90m long, featuring a reading lamp and USB charging ports.

Additional Details:

Side Door Window Option: A window can be added to the side sliding door, or it can be covered for a clean look.

Height Note: Due to insulation, the van is best suited for individuals up to 5’8″.

What’s Included: All leftover materials from the conversion (except power tools) for your convenience, including second tiles, paint, hinges, and an in-bed hob for the worktop. There is also an empty gas bottle that can be exchanged and refilled.

Work Needed:

Finishing Touches: A sink for the kitchen, an underslung water tank, and the entire water and plumbing system need to be completed, including the shower nook (currently no running water).

Repairs: The back door needs fixing to close properly.

Exterior Touch-Up: The exterior has minor dents and scratches from country lane driving. A little touch-up would go a long way.

Kitchen Cupboard Door: One of the kitchen cupboard doors needs a new hinge and a little repair.

Why I’m Selling:

I’ve poured so much love and effort into Sunny, but I no longer have the time or resources to complete the conversion. Living in a wonderful place means I don’t need her as much as I once did, so I’m hoping to pass her on to someone who will make her dreams come true.

Sunny is the perfect blend of potential and charm, with most of the hard work already done. If you don’t mind living without a shower or running water, you could finish up the door and add some fresh paint, and she would be nearly ready to hit the road. For me, living without running water was perfectly fine, but it’s entirely up to you how much you want to finish.

Additional Offerings: The van will come with a brand new MOT before the sale, ensuring a smooth transition for you, and it was last serviced in October last year.

Before I purchased Sunny, she was owned by Western Electrics, who meticulously maintained their vehicles. She’s been well cared for and serviced continuously, which adds to her reliability. Plus, the highway maintenance stripes on the back are an added bonus—they allow you to easily be let out during dense traffic.

Beds Description

Sunny offers flexible sleeping options. The seating area easily converts into a single bed, and there’s a cozy, comfortable sleeping nook by the back doors. The nook is just 10cm shorter than a standard double bed. It’s perfect for a restful night’s sleep and features a reading lamp and USB charging ports for added convenience.
