Interior Features

Vandalf has been carefully designed for all-year-round travel, offering warmth, comfort, and functionality. It features full insulation & sound deadening using eco-friendly materials (from Dodo Mat) and a thoughtfully laid-out living space. In addition we’ve installed marine grade cork flooring that works as an extra layer of insulation in addition to its waterproof effects and eco friendly material.

Bed Area:
-Fixed rear double bed with additional length created using side pods
-Custom-made ComfiCel® Cool Memory Foam mattress (190cm x 135cm) from Custom Size Beds for ultimate comfort.
-Overhead clothes storage and additional storage pockets in the doors.

Seating and Dining:
-Driver’s seat with a swivel base to create a communal seating area.
-Professionally installed extra rear seats with seat belts, providing safe seating for additional passengers.
-Samsung 24” Computer screen purchased in June 2024, perfect for remote working or watching movies.

Windows and Skylights:
-Two hinged motorhome style double-glazed windows with integrated thermal blinds and bug nets.
-Two bunk bed windows (installed in side pods) with bug nets and separate thermal blinds.
-Double-glazed skylight above the bed with integrated blinds and bug net.

Ventilation:
-MaxxFan Dome Plus in the bathroom for effective ventilation.
-Maxxair Maxxfan in roof above kitchen for summer cooling and ventilation, complete with thermal blinds and bug net.

Bathroom
– The shower unit is unfinished. You can use it as a toilet unit presently.
-Truma Combi D4E diesel air and water heater, professionally installed by BearHug Campers, for reliable hot water and heating.
-Eco-friendly composting toilet from Trelino for low-maintenance use.

The following things are needed to be completed by buyer if they wish to use the unit for showers
– Installation of 1 PVC sheet on the back wall of the shower.
– Installation of PVC sheet in the roof
-Installation of shower valve, shower head and shower rail
– Sealing between all the PVC sheets.

The hot water and cold water pipes from the Truma has already been run to the bathroom, they just need connecting to the shower valve once installed. In addition, as the materials missing to be installed have already been purchased these will be included in the price.

-30L underslung gas tank supplying the hob.

Electrical System

All electrical systems were purchased and installed as a package from Nohma, ensuring reliability and safety.
-Battery System: 1x Fogstar Pro 560Ah 12V Lithium battery.
-Victron Energy Cerbo GX and 5” Touch Screen for monitoring
-Solar: 2x Victron Energy BlueSolar: 175W Monocrystalline Panel – 350W solar array for off-grid power.
-Charging: 3x 30A 12V to 12V Non-isolated DC-DC chargers and shore hookup.
-1200VA Victron Energy MultiPlus: 1200VA inverter/charger.
-Outlets: AC outlets throughout the van.

Charging Times
Each charging component can fully recharge the Fogstar battery from 10% to 100% in the following times:
DC to DC Charger: 5.6 hours (while driving)
-Solar Panels: 24.1 hours (under optimal summer conditions)
-Victron Energy MultiPlus: 10 hours (when connected to mains power)

Battery Specifications
-Capacity: Designed to provide 3.2 days of power, before needing to be charged, based on our usage (this will differ from owner to owner).
-Lifespan: Estimated at 15 years with proper care.
