Recently converted VW transporter Long Wheel Base in Ravenna Blue.
MOT until February 2025
Our 2007 transporter has been lovingly converted and enjoyed on numerous camping trips around the UK but a change of circumstances means it’s time for someone else to take it on it’s next adventures.
Custom solid wood worktop and vinyl wrapped cupboard doors for ample storage.
Platinum 12v 100Ah Leisure battery with split charge relay, including to interior lights, usb socket and 12v outlet.
Direct 4×4 270degree batwing awning with sides included in price adding a large usable external space
Portable fitted Subcold ultra 15 mini fridge.
Custom bed frame inspired by the ply guys bed/storage system with high load runners and top opening storage bins
Rear and side windows fitted as shown in the photos.
Regular services and maintenance carried out:
Yearly oil and filter changes
Gearbox oil replaced around 3000 miles ago
Points to be aware of:
slight oil leak from crank chain cover gasket that hasn’t ever bothered us (doesn’t need topping up outside of services)
Air-con not operational. Condenser has been replaced but the gas leak remained so either pump or lines is the culprit.
Headlight covers are a bit blurry.
Only a single key, and the remote central locking is intermittent (central locking works consistently with the key in the door).
Driver side sliding door latch doesn’t release from outside and lower roller is worn out (this is behind the worktop so we never use it!)
As with most vans this age, it is an ongoing passion project but is a lovely space to be in for many camping adventures to come!
