Peugeot Boxer 440 L4h3 Hdi 2011
Mechanically sound and passed its MOT on 11/07/2024 after work completed. We bought it from it’s previous owner in Wiltshire in July 2023 who had caused some damage to the roof and the skylight, as well as the solar panel. Roof has been repaired, and fibreglassed. We also just fitted a new skylight in June 2024. But we have not replaced the solar panel, we have removed it, though all the original fittings, converters etc are still in place, so should just require a replacement solar panel to provide power.
The conversion was done by a previous owner who lived in it in Scotland it was then sold to the previous owners to be used as a leisure van. As it was a former ambulance it has some great secure storage cabinets (as well as a locking cabinet that fits a melodeon in perfectly!) and the person who converted it did a nice job of flooring it and using the space. The original converted lived in it in Scotland, so things have been done to very high spec, and there’s a lot of heating etc. We have done an awful lot of cosmetic work to the inside of the van, we have painted all the woodwork, and the bed panels, replaced the mattress with memory foam, I have also recovered the seat pads with a William Morris fabric, and made a blackout curtain panel for the skylight above the bed. The van also had the plus side of having a boot space to put luggage when travelling so that it doesn’t need to be secured in the main van area. The painting on the outside is understated and eye catching.
Electrics (We have never used any of the electrics due to having no solar panel attached, but below is listed what is still in place from the previous owners):
240V hookup with long cable
240 inverter (viltron energy)
2x 100AH AGM batteries
Eberspacher diesel heater
Water pump
Essential Information:
Gas hob x 2 rings
WAECO CoolMatic RHD-50 12v fridge
Kitchen Sink
80L water tank
3x wicker storage baskets
2 x drawers
Gas storage cupboard (gas bottle included)
Solid beech worktop
Underseat storage
Table (2 settings, either dining or coffee)
Bordeaux pine flooring

One double bed area for two adults reached by small step ladder, though steps or a ladder could be permanently fitted to the side of the bed panel if this was needed. The best thing is that there is always a space for sitting without having to put the bed away.
