Description of Beds: Isla is a two berth campervan. The fixed double bed is 135cm x 190cm Description of Seating: There are three belted seats in the front including the drivers. Description of Electrical Setup: Isla has three usb charging sockets and two regular 240 volt sockets. She can be run using solar when camping off grid but can also be hooked up to the mains when at a campsite. About the area: Isla lives in central Edinburgh. A five min taxi ride from either Waverly or Haymarket station. You could catch a few of the sights this famous city has to offer and then set off on your adventure round Scotland. Parking: If you are travelling by car to collect Isla, there is plenty of on-street free parking in a quiet residential location just a further short drive from where we are located. We can meet you there directly or we could meet you at home and then show you where to park. If you are arriving by train or other public transport we are very close to the centre of Edinburgh so probably best to take a short taxi or bus ride and meet us at home. Cooking Equipment: Isla has a well-equipped kitchen. Pots and pans, chopping boards, knives, wine glasses, cafetiere, plates, bowels, utensils… everything you really need. Water and Sanitation: There is an outdoor shower tent using water heated from the stove. There is an indoor porta potti housed under one of the front seats. There are 25ltr fresh and grey water tanks housed beneath the sink. Audio Equipment: Isla has bluetooth pairing for the audio system in the cab. Type of Heating: Isla is kept super warm by a powerful diesel heater. Conversion Story: Isla is almost brand new! Built on a new Peugeot Boxer medium wheelbase van. She has only done a few thousand miles. We chose Isla because we really liked her clean modern white lines which make the most of her Morrocan style details. Hopefully, Isla feels like a fresh modern Mediterranean villa but with a Scottish view! There is everything you need for a memorable Scottish adventure.
