Description of Beds: Atlas has a large, wide double bed with 4 inch thick memory foam mattress. It converts from the dining area and comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 1 child. Description of Seating: Three belted seats in the front (including driver) with head rests. About the area: Atlas lives in Ottery St. Mary, Devon. Ottery St. Mary is the perfect gateway for exploring the South West, Devon & Cornwall. If arriving by car we are just 5 mins off the A303 or 20 mins drive from the M5. There is a large Sainsbury’s and selection of local shops situated in the village centre of Ottery St. Mary which are ideal for picking up your supplies before setting off. Parking: If you drive to collect Atlas, you can leave your car on our driveway. Cooking Equipment: Atlas has everything you could need to cook up a feast in a homely, fully equipped kitchen. It includes:   2 gas hobs | Large sink with electric water pump | 3 cooking pans | 1 large wok | 1 frying pan | 2 colanders, and all the cooking utensils you will need. It has a charming whistling kettle | 1 cafeteria | 4 mugs | 6 metal cups | plastic wine glasses | bowls and plates | cutlery | sharp kitchen knives | Bread knife | Chopping boards | Tea Towels | Cleaning products | Lighter | 1 flask, and a corkscrew/bottle opener. There is an 18 litre fridge/freezer for all your food, and a bin, dust pan and 12v hand held vacuum neatly stored under the sink. Water Facilities: There is a 95 litre water tank that supplies water to the sink via an electric pump. This can be refilled from the outside with the hose provided with Atlas. There is a handy tap on the side. It has a large sink with drainer. Audio Equipment: Atlas has a DAB radio and CD player head unit with 4 speakers (2 upfront and 2 in the rear). It has an auxiliary port, USB plug-in and bluetooth connections available so you can play your own music. Type of Heating: Heating is provided be a charming log burner. Food can also be cooked over the licking flames as it has an access hole on the top. Safety: Atlas has been installed with a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket stored under the sink. Extras: There is plenty of storage under the seats in the rear and overhead comply. There are 6 USB ports in the back and 2 in the cabin for charging your appliances. Atlas has built in mood lighting that can be adjusted by remote. All your power is provided by the 2 solar panels on the roof and an in-built charging system via the dedicated leisure battery making the van totally off-grid. If you're at a campsite you can use the 240v hook up with the hook up lead provided, Atlas has 2 standard plug sockets to use inside if on hook up. Atlas has the added convenience of a Thetford Porta Potti toilet that pulls out from a compartment which can be added to your booking in the 'Add Extras' section. Conversion Story: Atlas' conversion was completed in March 2020. Using my skills as a qualified transportation designer I set to work to try and create a beautiful conversion whilst making it a fully functional space for living and entertainment. By maximising the space Atlas is packed with features to make the most out of your adventure, whether that's cruising down the coastline to the beach or disappearing into the wilds. Behind the timber clad walls and ceiling I have used the highest quality insulation that keeps things very cosy and quiet. If you do feel the chill then the log burner not only brings the heat, but provides the perfect background crackle and viewing.
