Description of Beds:. This incredible camper sleeps up to 5 adults! There's a fixed double bed across the rear of the camper (125x192cm), a large "rock & roll" bed which magically pulls out to make a huge double bed then finally a cab bed utilises the front cab space for the final single bed (plenty of width, slightly limited length which is great for shorter adults or kids) Description of Seating: Three belted seats in the front (including driver) and two forward facing belted seats with 3 point mounting belts. There's an extending bench which faces the rear belted seats which comfortably sits 4 Adults around the table with more seating space on the staircase & bed (we've comfortably had 6 seated playing games within Forrest at Camp Quirky) a1 About the area: Located just north of Newcastle upon Tyne in a beautiful seaside town called Newbiggin-By-The-Sea which is just a short drive from the A1, Forrest is the perfect choice for an off-grid road trip around the coast, Northumberland, the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales or Scotland. In fact, the North Shields ferry is only a short drive away, so you could be in the Netherlands and the wider ranges of European campervan heaven! Forest lives in a small seaside town with some lovely fish & chip shops, cafe's and of course beaches! so staying locally if you're traveling to collect Forrest is a great option - Around 10 minutes from the A1 and A19 so traveling by car is a breeze. Alternatively, we're 7 miles from Morpeth train station (which is on the main line) and 18 miles from Newcastle airport. Parking: If you drive to collect Forrest, you are welcome to leave your car in Forrest's parking spot Cooking Equipment: I The homely and fully equipped kitchen compromises of a 2-ring induction hob, Large 65L compressor fridge and large undermounted sink. It also includes: Whistling Kettle | x5 tumblers | x5 plates | x5 bowls | x5 knives | x5 forks | x5 teaspoons | x5 table spoons | frying pan | sauce pan | range of cooking utensils | bottle opener/corkscrew | chopping knife | peeler | x5 mugs | colander. Water Facilities: Hot and cold running water is supplied to the kitchen sink and shower using a diaphragm pump running from an underslung 70L fresh water tank (with additional 30L hot water tank - which is powered by the vehicles engines wasted heat for off grid use, or via 230v hookup for campsite use) The tank will be supplied full and we will supply a hose and connectors if you need to top up during your travels. A 58L underslung grey (waste) water tank is also fitted which catches the waste water from the shower & sink if you need to. Forrest can also come with a portable toilet if required (available as an extra when booking). Audio Equipment: There's a seperate built in music system within the rear living space of Forrest, this includes its own aerial for radio and Bluetooth / Aux / USB if you fancy bringing your own music along! The music is payed out of the 2x quality high level speakers. Type of Heating: Autoterm Diesel air blown heater keeps you super toasty all year round. Conversion Story: Forrest has been freshly converted by the experts at Northern Conversions as a brother to Marrick & Laura's other super awesome camper on the Quirky fleet – Tyson. Forrest has been built with a "no expense spared" attitude, meaning quality and usability are at the forefront of this build. He's the ultimate off grid adventure machine boasting a Huge 460ah Roamer lithium battery, 400w of Solar capture panels, full Victron electrical system including a 2kw Inverter / hookup charger, Large underslung water tanks and relatively large internal shower.... Although that doesn't mean you need to stay off grid of course! Sound deadening was used throughout, then the whole camper was thoroughly insulated (3 layered approach) to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer and finally beautifully finished as you can see in the photos with lightweight Ply & pippy oak touches. Because we can never be sure what the British weather would throw at us, there is a hot water system that warms up using the vehicles engine for the shower and a diesel heater which runs from the vehicles fuel tank. For the warmer weather there is a Maxxair roof fan at the front, another opening skylight in the rear, a 3rd skylight in the shower enclosure then opening windows on either side of the camper then a huge compressor fridge in the kitchen to keep the drinks and food nicely chilled! The van is well equipped and a lovely comfortable drive as you would expect from the Mercedes brand.
