Lucy is a stunning, Scandi style professionally done campervan conversion for hire in Liverpool. If you are looking for a family campervan with style, space and storage then you’ve found her! Lucy ticks pretty much every box when it comes to home comforts – she packs a lot into her living space and is a total head turner with her beautiful interior design.
A fixed rear double bed means you don’t have to faff with setting it up at night – you can just sink into the comfy mattress, put on the fairy lights for some ambiance and star gaze from the overhead skylight. There is a third berth that converts from the sofa seats at the front of the van. Lucy has solar power, 240v hook up, a portable toilet and 2 types of showers (internal and external) which means she is fully equipped for self-contained wild camping adventures as well as camp site stays where you can make use of her awesome side awning. With an efficient diesel heater as well as the quintessential wood-burner, she is an all-season camper and the perfect adventure base.

About the Campervan
Description of Beds: Lucy sleeps up to 3 people with one fixed double bed to rear with curtain for privacy and one child/adult bed which can be converted from the dinette seating.
Description of Seating: Lucy has three belted seats in the front (including driver) with head rests. This includes an Isofix connection for a child seat. The dining area comprises of two inward facing bench seats with fold away table. The seating converts to a sofa/bed by lowering the table.
Porta Potti: We are providing a Porta Potti for your convenience and we would be grateful for to be returned to us clean and fresh. If not we will charge to do this for you.
About the area: Lucy lives in Liverpool on a private driveway, with easy access to the M62, M56, and M57.
Parking: If you drive to collect Lucy, you are welcome to leave one car in her normal spot on the owner’s driveway. If you live close by, her owners may be able to bring her to you.
Cooking Equipment: Lucy has a fully equipped, super stylish kitchen with a refurbished 1960's Vintage Calor Oven complete with two burner hob and grill, a 3-way fridge freezer, cutlery for 4, as well as a kettle | 2 saucepans | 1 frying pan | pizza cutter | garlic press | tin opener | colander | whisk | knife set | Ridge Monkey | ice cube tray | chopping board, and selection of herbs and spices.
Water Facilities: Lucy has a 75-litre fresh water tank, portable grey water tank and a Thetford Porta Potty Loo. She also has a Belfast sink with hot and cold water heated by a Whale Instant Hot Water Heater and two showers! One internal with its tray concealed in the floor with trigger operated heat and attachable shower curtain. The external shower point is to the rear.
Audio Equipment: Lucy has Bluetooth Radio/CD/MP3 Player in the cab. There are several USB plug-in points in the living area to play your own music and charge phones.
Type of Heating: For warm cosy, romantic nights Lucy has a Hobbit Solid Fuel Burner as well as a thermostatically controlled 2.5kw diesel heater.
Conversion Story: Lucy originally came from Huddersfield where she carried antiques for a dealer there. We had started our garden design company Lucy Frank Garden Design & Landscaping in 2017 and we were in need of a van when we came across her being advertised. As soon as we saw her, we knew she was for us, she had been cared for and came with the previous owner’s personal service log book, with all his own notes in going back years!
We brought her to Liverpool and she became part of our landscaping firm, housing tools, lawn mowers, taking us to jobs etc when we came up with the idea of converting her. We found Wild Vans Ltd in Southampton and took her down there in early 2020 and they began their amazing conversion just before lockdown happened. We didn't get her back until November due to lockdown restrictions but we knew she was in safe hands where she was. When we first saw her, we were overwhelmed by how beautiful she was, her cabinets are made from reclaimed French floor boards, her soft furnishings from Zoe Glencross Designs.
