EX-Flo

Description of Beds: Flo sleeps up to 3 adults altogether. Two on the double bed, and one extra adult or child on the single bed. The double bed is fixed (133cm wide x 172cm long) with a comfortable foam mattress and topper, and the dining table comes down to make space for a single bed (80cm wide x 172cm long). A bed guard is available as an extra for small children. Description of Seating: Three belted seats in the front (including driver) with headrests. The two passenger seats are suitable for a child car seat using the 3-point belt. (available as an extra if required) About the area: Flo lives in Cottingham, near Hull, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, which is less than an hours drive from the historic City of York. Yorkshire is a beautiful place to explore in itself, and it also acts as a great central starting point for many road trips around the country. Parking: If you drive to collect Flo, you are welcome to leave your car in her normal spot on our drive. If you come by train, Flo's owners will be able to pick you up from Cottingham train station. Cooking Equipment: Flo's Moroccan-style kitchen is well equipped with a two-ring gas hob, a 12v electric Fridge and a Quirky copper sink with running water. She also comes with 6 traditional tin camping mugs (for entertaining) | 4 plastic tumblers | 4 bamboo bowls | 4 bamboo dining plates | 4 bamboo side plates | cutlery for 4 | a chopping board | Gas kettle | 2 small frying pans | 1 large and 1 small saucepan. There is a wooden spoon | a serving spoon and slotted spoon | 2 sharp knives | 1 bread knife | a tin opener | a Potato masher | a vegetable peeler | Scissors | Tongs | Whisk | a measuring jug | corkscrew/bottle opener and a grater. Flo also has a stove-top espresso percolator, a stove-top toasted sandwich maker and a toasting rack that you can use over the gas hob. She also comes with food storage boxes to keep leftovers fresh. Flo has other kitchen essentials including kitchen towels, a dustpan and brush and everything you need to wash up. We'll also provide ground and instant coffee, tea and sugar to get you started, as well as salt, pepper and spray cooking oil. Water Facilities: There are 2 x 25-litre water tanks that can be swapped over to give a total of 50 litres of water that supply water to the sink via a pump. You can hire a portable toilet as an optional extra which lives under one of the seats. There is also a portable shower and shower tent which can be booked as an extra if required. Audio/Video Equipment: Flo has a smart TV with a selection of DVDs. You can hotspot this TV to your phone data, if required so that you can still watch all your favourite online shows on Netflix, Youtube, iPlayer etc. Flo also has an "iBox" DAB radio which you can connect your phone to via the aux-in lead or via Bluetooth. (This can be booked as an optional extra). In the front cab, there is a normal FM radio built into the dashboard. There is also a separate DAB unit for listening to DAB stations (Signal permitting). You can play your own music, from your phone, by connecting to this unit via Bluetooth. Electrical system: - Flo can run totally off-grid for weeks on end without the need for mains hook-up. She has a top-of-the-range charging system which charges the battery up from the engine alternator (when driving), and also from 250w of solar panels on the roof. She is fitted with a High-performance Lithium Battery which can last for days on end. She has got LED lighting and fairy lights in the living area and two bedside wall lights (which can all be dimmed), along with 8 USB charging points for charging phones and iPads etc. Type of Heating: Flo has a diesel heater which heats up the van quickly on cooler nights. Conversion Story: Flo began life as transport for workers up and down the country. She was then converted by her first owner who unfortunately had to sell her before she was ever used in her new live-in form. Flo has had a makeover and some essential extras added such as the built-in gas hob, fridge and toilet. She started off with a bright colour scheme but we have toned it all back a bit to give her a comfy and calm feel. She recently moved down from Scotland to her new home here in Yorkshire. She is still relatively new to our family but has already had some great adventures, including trips up to her old stomping ground in Scotland.
