Please note Lola is NOT a festival friendly van and cannot be booked for or taken to festivals Description of Beds:. Lola sleeps up to two people comfortably on her full sized double bed. With additional pop-top for extra headspace and room during the day or night. Designed for her 2 meter tall owner, space and comfort are not compromised. Description of Seating: Three belted seats in the front (including driver) with head rests. The 3 seats have all fitted with three point belts. 2 out of the 3 passengers seats are suitable for a child car seat using the belt. About the area: Lola lives in Tooting, a vibrant part of London and is parked on a quiet residential street. Parking: If you drive to collect Lola, you are welcome to leave your car in her normal spot. We can provide you with the necessary parking vouchers at request for a daily fee. If you arrive by train, Lola's owners will be happy to pick you up from various West London stations. Cooking Equipment: There are two full size gas hobs inside the vehicle. lola has everything you could need to cook up a feast, including:  2 traditional enamel mugs | 2 traditional enamel cups | 2 plastic cups | 4 plates (2 blue, 2 green) | 4 bowls (2 blue, 2 green) | cutlery for 4 | 3 chopping board | kettle | mixing bowl | large frying pan | large and small saucepan | 4 cork place matts and 4 coasters | 1 sharp chef knife | 1 smaller parring knife | 1 bread knife and knife sharpener | Utensils galore with: 1 large silicone spatula | 1 small silicone spatula | peeler | cheese grater | bottle stopper | can opener | corkscrew/bottle opener | scissors | lighters and matches. Lola also comes with a cafetière for those early morning coffees | collapsible colander | collapsible tupperware | collapsible bucket and brush. Water Facilities: There is a 20 litre removable fresh water tank that supplies water to the sink via amn automatic pump. Lola is also fitted with a 20 litre grey water tank for convenience. Audio Equipment: Lola has built in speakers in the front, with USB and AUX plug-in as well as bluetooth are all available so you can play your own music. There's also a CD player if you fancy putting that old collection to good use. A portable UE Boom bluetooth wireless speaker can be supplied on request for music in the rear. Type of Heating: Very efficient Diesel Heater on top of excellent recycled eco insulation - no cold nights in Lola...Fact! Conversion Story: Lola started out and began life as a humble panel van. Exceptionally well maintained, she fitted our strict criteria perfectly and ended our long and painstaking hunt. In early 2021 she was handed over to the extremely capable and talented craftsmen at Onwards (founders of the legendary Rolling Home) Any lustful vanlifer will be familiar with their enviable life journey, and probably own one or two of their journals. Having met them a few years back when owning a camper felt like a pipe dream, we followed their beautiful and inspired work closely. In addition to being head and shoulders above the rest in terms of design and finish, their eco and sustainable approach to conversion resonated with us strongly. So as the project became a reality, getting them on board was a no brainer. You’ll notice from Lola’s clean birch design, that she stands out from the norm in terms of camper conversions. With a cosy and minimalist layout, everything is bespoke (from the port hole to the sink lid/chopping board), carefully thought out and there for a specific purpose. Not an inch of space wasted or unnecessary gram fitted. With its owner being 2 meters tall, maximising space and comfort was key to the creation of this conversion. Lola is fitted with with their Pioneer design maximising social space and functionality in the back. The furniture has three set layouts; The first enables a single long bench down one side, allowing for maximum load space in the rear. The second pulls the bench out into an L shape with table in the middle, turning the living are into a much more social dining or living space. Then final into a full (length and width) double bed, essential for a perfect nights sleep. Lola is discreet and drives like a Golf. Perfect for flying under the radar, yet still equipped with everything needed to stay off grid for substancial periods of time (like heater, solar, LPG tank and fridge).
