Ex-Cloud

Description of Beds: Cloud boasts a super comfortable custom made 20cm marine mattress with a built in memory foam layer. The bed is close to King size measuring W150cm x H185cm. The bed is above the garage space, you will need to be able to step up into the bed via step ladders. Description of Seating: Cloud has a dedicated seating area, comfortably sitting one and for two if you want to be cosy. Both of the cab seats are on swivel mechanisms, so once turned the living space can easily seat 3 people around the adjustable Laguna table. There are two belted seats with head and arm rests in the front. Description of Electrical Setup: Cloud is fully off grid, with two solar panels providing electricity. There are USB charging points in the seating, kitchen and bedroom areas, as well as two standard sockets also located in the seating area powered by an inverter. A temporary EHU option is available as an extra. About the area: Cloud is located between the Shropshire Hills AONB and the Snowdonia National park. There are many places to walk or cycle in the beautiful hills, as well as the many food festivals over the summer. We're also not far from the Welsh coast and you can head up into the lakes or Scotland from us. Collection: If you drive to collect Cloud, you are welcome to leave your car in its normal spot, we live in a fairly remote area with plenty of space, of course this will be at owners risk. We are also happy to collect you if you travel by air or train, this would be free from Welshpool train station, extras can be added for additional locations. Cooking Equipment: Cloud boasts a four ring gas burner, unusual for a camper, so the sky's the limit with meals you can prepare. We also provide comprehensive cooking equipment, including pans, utensils, peeler, grater, knives, bottle opener, cafetiere, cutlery, plates, cups, bowls and an optional outdoor mini BBQ. Water and Sanitation: Cloud has a small bathroom which houses a composting toilet and a gas powered combination shower. We have underslung clean and waste water tanks providing water to the shower and kitchen. The kitchen waste does go to a separate accessible waste container which needs regular disposal. We provide biodegradable washing up liquid and can provide biodegradable bathroom products to ensure we leave as little impact whilst you're on the road. Type of Heating: Cloud comes with internal thermal insulation to attach to the windows at night, keeping you snug, in colder months there is also a diesel heater which warms the space quickly. Extra Information: We believe in making as little environmental impact as possible and encourage our customers to do the same. For each rental we will plant a tree and we also provide a litter picker and re-usable rubbish bag, so you can participate in the #leaveitbetter campaign, contributing to improving our beautiful countryside.

Cloud is also a great van for cycling enthusiasts, with the possibility of providing internal storage for bikes, wheels and equipment so you know your kit is easy to access, but safely out of sight. Conversion Story: Cloud is our second conversion, take a look at River if you're looking for a smaller van for your trip. We were living in France, but decided to check out if there was somewhere in the UK we wanted to come back and live, so we converted Cloud to live and work for 8 months while we explored the UK. Cloud was previously a delivery van for a medical supply company that we converted with Wandering Wheels in 2021. During that year we lived in Cloud for 8 months travelling the UK, finding the gem that is Shropshire! We worked during lockdown with Matt & Naomi from Wandering Wheels, doing our best to design our new home on the road at a distance and we loved it. Cloud has everything you could need for a holiday, because we were designing it to live in, so you can easily cook a full meal, work at the desk (sitting or standing), store pretty much anything and take your four legged friend along for the ride too! Warning: The payload of this vehicle is 223kg. This is below the Quirky Campers recommended payload of 280kg for a vehicle with 2 belted seats. Drivers need to be aware that the total weight of driver, passengers and baggage must be below 223kg to keep the vehicle within its legal Max Allowed Mass (MAM) of 3500kg
