Gigi

Description of Beds: Gigi has three beds. One is almost a full double at 140cm wide and 180cm long. The drop down children’s bed is 152cm long and 120cm wide. The pull out/fold-out bed on the rear seating is 175cm long and 120cm wide. Description of Seating: 6 belted seats for travel. 3 in the front, including the driver. 3 rear facing seats in the back. There is space for at least 6 people in the dining/living area for socialising. Description of Electrical Setup: The van has five USB charging points, including one in the cab and a twin 240 volts socket for electric hook up. About the area: Gigi lives on the border of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, on the edge of the Forest of Dean. There is lots to do in the local area from paddleboarding on the river Wye, mountain biking on the trails, walking the Welsh mountains or heading south to the coast. The closest beach is only 90 minutes away in Porthcawl. Or if you want to venture a bit further, head south to Cornwall, go where the wind takes you! Parking: Gigi is parked outside the owner's house on a private driveway in a rural location. If you drive to collect Gigi, you are welcome to leave your car in her normal spot. If you come by train, Gigi's owners may be able to pick you up from Gloucester station. Cooking Equipment: Gigi has two gas hobs for cooking, and comes with pots and pans of various sizes for all your cooking needs. Coffee can be made on a stovetop espresso maker. We also provide kitchen equipment for six people, including six enamel dinner plates, six small plates, six bowls, six handleless ceramic tea/coffee cups, six bamboo water cups, a colander, grater, peeler, can opener, chopping boards and knives. The fridge is adaptable to your needs, you can choose to have it all for your fridge goods or have one section as a freezer compartment. There is also a wire rack for storing dry goods in the kitchen cupboard. Water and Sanitation: Gigi has a 85 litre water tank with a monitor, so you’ll know if you need to top up. It is an underslung tank, refillable from a mains pressure tap via an optional hose. Grey water can be drained straight onto the ground, or diverted into a 10L grey water tank. Dedicated storage is available for an optional Porta Potti, Audio Equipment: Gigi comes with a portable jungle green mini rig as standard, which is bluetooth compatible or audio jack compatible. Type of Heating: Diesel heating is drawn from the vehicle tank, which heats the van up quickly and keeps it toasty all winter long. Conversion Story: Gigi was bought brand new and converted by Studley Campers to be a flexible camper that could accommodate a big family. As she is brand new she will be a reliable companion on your adventures wherever you decide to take her. Gigi is kitted out with a diesel heater so she is a great all year option. The fridge is big enough to store all the supplies for your trip and more. Gigi has a spacious feel and is a great social space if you are hanging out with friends. Alice and Jonny sometimes choose to bring all four kids along for fun family time as the various bed configurations allow enough flexibility to fit the needs of the whole family. For longer trips there is the option to hire an awning or tent for extra space. Warning: The payload of this vehicle is 480kg. This is below the Quirky Campers recommended payload of 640kg for a vehicle with 6 belted seats. Drivers need to be aware that the total weight of driver, passengers and baggage must be below 480kg to keep the vehicle within its legal Max Allowed Mass (MAM) of 3500kg
