Description of Beds: Eve sleeps four people in total. Two on the fold-out bed and two in the pop-up roof, which can also be used without the bed pulled down, for extra headspace and room during the day. The fold-out bed measures 103cm x 183cm. The pop-up roof bed measures 105cm x 194cm. Description of Seating: Three belted seats in the front (including driver) with headrests and two further belted seats in the rear. All 5 seats have three point belts. All seats are suitable for child car seats using the belt. Electrical Setup: Eve is fully off grid with a 370w solar panel, a 200ah lithium-iron battery, and a 2000w inverter to power a 240v socket. This is used to power the induction hobs but can be used to power laptops, hairdryers, or toasters. Eve also includes an electrical hook-up, which will charge the leisure battery on days with no sun. There are four USB charging sockets in the back and one in the cab. About the area: Eve is located near Brighton racecourse, on a residential street. She's less than a 10 minute drive from Brighton station and 35 minutes drive from Gatwick airport. Parking: If you drive to collect Eve, you are welcome to leave your car on the street. Parking requires a permit Monday-Friday. You can order visitor parking permits in the add-ons section. Cooking Equipment: Eve has everything you need to cook up a storm including one induction hob, two cast iron pans and kettle and an electric fridge. A sink with running water, bamboo cutlery, acrylic wine glasses, acrylic tumblers, locally made ceramic mugs, large acacia wooden plates, and bowls for 4 people. There’s also one chopping board, one serrated knife, one stainless steel coffee press, Wooden cooking spoons, tin opener and corkscrew/bottle opener. Water and Sanitation: There is a 20-litre removable water tank that supplies water to the kitchen sink via a pump. An outdoor solar heated shower and portable toilet with tent is available in the add-ons section. Audio Equipment: Eve features a touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, Apple Carplay and Android Auto. You can listen to all your songs and podcasts while driving, controlling them via the touchscreen. It also supports driving directions from your phone, it's brilliant. Type of Heating: Gas powered heating for winter off-grid adventures. You can also use an electric heater while hooked up at a campsite. Charging the van: Eve has a range of 150 miles, this will vary depending on average speed, driving style, weather, number of passengers and use of cab heating. Eve supports ultra-rapid charging. You can charge her from 0%-80% in 40 minutes. Eve includes membership cards to several charging networks so you can spend more time relaxing at charging stations. We'll be more than happy to advise you on the best route to take. In an emergency, Eve's RAC breakdown cover includes electric charging to get you to a charging point. Extra Information: Eve's soft furnishings and consumables are all ethically sourced. From the wooden cutlery and plates, to the locally made soap, and the compostable sponges, your holiday with Eve will have the lightest footprint possible. Eve also contains an odour-sealed composting bin. Please dispose of your food waste there, and we'll compost it for you!
