Coral

Description of Beds: Coral sleeps up to 3 people, 2 in the double bed and 1 in the small single. The fixed double bed is 140cm wide and 190cm long (a full sized double bed). The seating area transforms easily into a small single bed, 50cm wide and 180cm long. The small single is best suited to a child but can also accommodate a small adult.

Description of Seating: In the cab Coral features 3 belted seats (including driver) with headrests. All seats have 3 point seat belts, and the two passenger seats are suitable for use with car seats (no isofix fittings). In the rear there is fixed seating for two around the slide out dining table, with the option to add a camping chair to add a third seat.

Description of Electrical Setup: Coral boasts two 110ah leisure batteries so has plenty of power for your electrical needs. The batteries are charged either by the rooftop solar panels, when the engine is running or when on electric hook up, so offers fully flexible power for both on and off grid use. Coral has two USB charging points in the cab, plus four USB charging points and two 3 point plug sockets in the living area, and one 3 point socket in the garage. The 3 point sockets are only available on electric hook up, but everything else (the USB charging points, all lights and the 68 litre fridge with freezer box are available both on and off grid.

Lighting: Coral features 4 overhead LED ceiling lights, 2 adjustable wall mounted bedside lights, and a remote controlled LED light strip under the overhead cupboards, which can be changed to the colour of your choice.

About the area: Coral lives in Bristol and is parked on a quiet residential street with great public transport links. It is only a 15 minute drive from Bristol Parkway train station, and 10 minutes from the M32 with great links to the M4/M5.

Parking: If you drive to collect Coral you are very welcome to leave your car on our driveway for the duration of your hire.

Cooking Equipment: Coral includes all you need to whip up a feast. There are 2 gas hobs, a variety of pots and pans, a ridge monkey toastie pan and a hob-top toaster, plus cutlery, ceramic mugs, large and small melamine plates and bowls, wooden spoons, spatulas, tongs and a ladle, chopping boards and knives, and of course a kettle for a cuppa! We also offer the use of a 1.2litre thermos. The kitchen also includes a washing up bowl/draining rack, washing up liquid and sponges, and small dustpan and brush. Coral boasts a generous 68 litre fridge with integrated freezer box, so you can comfortably carry enough provisions for your trip.

Water and Sanitation: Coral features a Thetford PortaPotti, which slides away neatly into its own little compartment when not in use. There is also the option to add an outdoor USB charged shower and privacy tent to your booking. The shower is supplied by water in a 10 litre tub, which must first be heated by the stovetop kettle. There are two 25 litre water tanks stored under the sink - one for fresh water (supplied by an electric pump), and one for waste water. We recommend use of the tap for washing hands/dishes only, and using the separate water bottle for drinking water.

Audio Equipment: Coral features an integrated radio in the cab with a bluetooth connection to play your own music during your journey, and a portable Bluetooth speaker for use in the rear or awning area.

Type of Heating: Coral is very well insulated and will keep you toasty and warm even on the coldest day, but should you desire an extra burst of heat then there is an electric heater which works when on hookup, which will soon warm the whole van. We offer the option to add on a portable firepit to your booking too!

Extra Information: Coral is the ideal camper for a couple or small family, and we welcome well behaved dogs too. Featuring solar panels and electric hook up she is equally happy both on and off the grid, and we recommend following the popular 2:1 model (2 nights off grid then 1 night back on) to maximise the battery life and to enable you to restock the essentials. She is a joy to drive, with a spacious cab and reversing camera. For those rainy days Coral includes a games cupboard offering chess, card games and board games, plus a selection of books. We offer lots of extras to enhance your adventure, including an inflatable paddleboard, a portable firepit, and a bodyboard.

Conversion Story: Coral is inspired by the coast, with blues, whitewashed wood and beachy tones used throughout. Maximising her storage space was a priority, and so Coral features 6 overhead cupboards, 4 drawers, 2 under counter cupboards, one full height cupboard, hidden storage under the seats and a large garage too. Perfect to pack with all the extras to really make your trip memorable!
