About the Campervan

Description of Beds: Billy can sleep 3 people comfortably with a small double bed (125cm X 185cm) for two people and a single bed for another (100cm X 175cm). The second single bed can be converted back into seating during the day to maximise living space. Description of Seating: Billy can take 3 passengers up front (3 seats with 3 point seat belts and headrests), but can fit up to 4 people comfortably in the living space (on occasion, Billy has housed 6 people on a rainy day if both beds are used). Description of Electrical Setup: Billy has the full works for being off-grid. The electrical set-up in Billy includes a 200 amp lithium battery, with a 1000W PSW inverter. This battery will charge when you’re driving Billy thanks to his 60A DC to DC charger. When you're not on the move, the battery will benefit from the 175W solar panel on the roof. Billy has four 230V electrical outlets within the living space (two in the kitchen and two located by the sofa), as well as four 5V USB chargers (two in the cab and two located by the bed). About the area: Billy is located within a couple of hours of the Peak District, Wales, the Cotswolds and the Lake District. If you're looking for something a little closer, we are not too far from Worcester, Cannock Chase, Shropshire hills, and Malvern Hills. Parking: If you drive to collect Billy, you are welcome to leave your car where Billy is parked. If you come by train, we will be able to pick you up (time dependent) from Cradley Heath/Rowley Regis/Old Hill Train Station. Cooking Equipment: Billy has two ring burners, a grill and an oven for all your cooking needs. You will have everything you need to cook within Billy, including 2 pots, 1 grill pan, 2 baking trays, a kettle, 4 sets of cutlery, cooking utensils, a frying pan, 4 bamboo bowls, 4 bamboo plates, 4 glasses, 4 mugs, 2 chopping boards, colander, tin opener, peeler, 1 sharp knife, and a grater. Billy also has a cleaning welcome pack, a washing up bowl and a dustpan and brush. Water and Sanitation: Located at the back doors is a solar shower as well as a shower grid and curtain to enable you to shower outside. The water tank within Billy is capable of holding 90L of water and this supplies the tap to the sink. The tank is easily refillable as it is located in the back of the van, where you'll also find a hose for you to fill up Billy's water tank. Audio Equipment: Billy has a bluetooth enabled radio within the cab of the van so you can listen to all your favourite music/podcasts/audiobooks. Billy also has a portable USB speaker available to hire in the living area of the van. Type of Heating: Billy has a heater located in the garage of the van, this heater has 6 heat settings and is vented into the garage and the living area of the van. This runs on diesel and can be refilled within the garage of the van. Conversion Story: Billy started life as a white appliance delivery van. We brought him in 2021 during lockdown, after searching for a bigger van for a while. For the next year and a half Billy was lovingly converted on our drive. Billy's interior is neutral and has taken inspiration from a Boho theme. Billy has been a labour of love, and other than the appliances, everything has been crafted by us.
