Description of Beds: Imagine has a super-king bed, it comfortably fits 3 adults and will easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 children up to the ages of 13/14 for sleeping. The mattress is 15mm quality foam and gives you an amazing night's sleep. The bed measures 73” x 76” and transforms easily into a seating area for daytime lounging. Description of Seating: The seating area can fit 5 adults at a squeeze, but easily seats 3 adults. There is no fixed table, however lap tables can be used. There are 3 belted seats in the front (including driver) with headrests, and the driver seat has an adjustable armrest for long journeys. The cab is very spacious with an overhead storage compartment in the front for linen, towels, and other bits/bobs, there are also charging points in the cab for USB gadgets. Description of Electrical Setup: There are 4 USB charging points in the living area which run 24/7 from the solar panels, these are great for phones and computer usage when off-grid or to reduce power usage via electrical hook-up. There are 2 electrical points in the main living area, these can only be used when hooked up to an electric point. About the area: Looe and Polperro are busy fishing ports, with day boats catching fish you can buy in the local fishmongers. The beach at East Looe is popular with families but if you want a bit more peace then head to Hannafore and explore the rocky nooks and crannies on the beach as well as having a front-row view of Looe Island. Parking: If you drive to pick up Imagine, there is parking near our holiday home in Looe where you can leave your car. Cooking Equipment: There is a 3 gas burner cooker in the main living area complete with a sizable oven and grill. We have Tefal non-stick pans and a large wok for those who love to cook and all utensils you need, we provide ovenware dishes, plenty of cutlery, water bottles, cups, mugs, wine glasses for the big kids and juice glasses for the small kids, and not to forget that wine opener. Imagine has everything you’d expect from the comfort of your own kitchen. Water and Sanitation: We have an indoor and outdoor shower, both heated from the main water system and the tank holds 70L. Full instructions on how to turn on the water heater will be provided, but this is completed in around 15/20 mins from start of the process. The van is provided with a small porta-potty loo which is ideal for no1’s (it’s easy to use and instructions will be provided for cleaning) for the no2’s we suggest local facilities (campsites or local toilets). All tanks are situated under the van and there are easily accessible taps for draining water/grey waste from the shower (instructions will be provided). Type of Heating: electrical heater for hook up - cosy blankets for anything else people ! Conversion Story: Imagine is our pride and joy. We are Harry and Susan, the owners and ,as you may have guessed,The Beatles (and music as a whole) hold a special place in our hearts. The van was born out of a want for change in our lives; we sold our houses, cars, worldly belongings and headed for somewhere new with no idea where we would end up. The living area was designed by Harry and the internals and externals by Susan. We hope this hire gives you a feel for what we are trying to achieve in our life. We both wanted Imagine to showcase our love for life, music and the freedom of the open road. Taking this leap of faith in 2021 has led us both to Cornwall and we have now extended our life of freedom into a holiday home in the amazing area of Looe and Polperro. We want others to take Imagine out on the open road and seek that experience, feeling and inspiration to make change in your own day to day lives.
