About the Campervan

About the area: Cub is located down a quiet suburban cul-de-sac within Epping forest. It is a 10 minute walk from the nearest Tube station (Buckhurst Hill), a 15 minute drive from Junction 26 on the M25 Junction, and also near the M11. Description of Beds: Cub has a massive King size bed which comfortably sleeps two at night (150 cm wide and 180 cm long) the bed easily folds away into a comfy day bed. Additionally a child sized cab bed is offered for any little people that want to join the trip. Description of Seating: Cub has a standard three belted seats in the front of the van. The rear of the van can seat two comfortably as well as a little one. Description of Electrical Setup: Cub boasts a massive 320 AH battery, 200 watts of solar power, partnered with a 30 amp Dc-to-Dc charger which is powered by an uprated 200 amp alternator. An 800 watt Victron Multiplus inverter/charger provides internal 240 volt power to 3 sockets, and there is also a Shore hook-up line which is provided as standard if people are staying on a campsite. Parking: There is ample free off-road parking without restrictions down our road. It is quiet and particularly safe. Cooking Equipment: Cub has a full range of cooking utensils as well as a generously sized cooking pot, a pan, a kettle, chopping board, plates and bowls for 3, there are 3 plastic coffee travel mugs, a cheese grater, tin opener and much more. Cub has a dual ring diesel cooker/heater which is perfect for prolonged trips off-grid. There is an extra large house sized sink for washing up that doubles up as chopping space and a draining area. Wine glasses are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Water and Sanitation: Cub has an external cold water shower which is provided for by an 80 litre underslung water tank which will be filled for your collection. The water isn’t heated so plan for shower stop offs if you like a warm wash. One of our extras is a portable composting toilet. The clean and natural alternative doesn’t require any chemicals and makes disposal of toilet waste very easy. Audio Equipment: Cub is kitted out with an aftermarket Pioneer head unit with CarPlay and AndroidAuto which is a must have for long car trips. Plug in your device for your own music and navigation app choice. This is complimented by uprated speakers and a subwoofer in the cab to give your favourite songs a great sound and enabling you to blast your road trip playlist. USB plug-in and Bluetooth are both available so you can play your own music.’ Type of Heating: Cub has a modern and efficient diesel heater which warms the space very quickly. Pet Information: Dogs are welcome but if you plan on sleeping with them in the bed with you then please do not opt for the bedding extra as I like to offer pet free bedding to people with allergies. Extra Information: Cub has been created with organic and natural materials to reflect your campervan trip surroundings. Designed to be a peaceful space, the interior is a neutral colour scheme with plenty of character to charm you. Previously Cub was a florist's van for the Covent Garden Flower Market. After being bought for a camper conversion by the second owners who never got round to starting their conversion, I decided to add another to my van family in 2022 and buy Cub with the plan to convert another van with a similar aesthetic and feel to Bear. About the Owner: I am Will, an Airbnb Superhost and a part-time van lifer. I often work all over the country and have lots of time to spend overnight in my campervans enjoying nature. My favourite thing about Cub is the size. Being short, Cub is very accessible to those less confident driving bigger vehicles, yet still big enough to do everything you need thanks to the Quirky high roof.
