About the area: Amalfi is located in Bristol, on the doorstep of some of the most stunning landmarks the UK has to offer. Perfectly centred to hit the road in any direction, you have the Cotswolds less than an hour away; the Welsh countryside over the water. For those wanting to travel a little further, Devon and Cornwall are to the South; or you can hop on a ferry from Portsmouth to explore the wonders of Europe. Description of Beds: Amalfi sleeps two adults with a fixed double bed measuring 187cm long x 132cm wide. There is an option to turn the seats into a slim bench for relaxing on an evening, or to use as a bed for a young child (measures 162cm long x 54cm wide). Description of Seating: Three belted seats in the front, including driver, with headrests. Seating in the main living space - two seats situated either side of the pull out table for dining and relaxing. Description of Electrical Setup: Suitable for off-grid adventures, Amalfi has 240V hook up, solar panels fitted to the roof, and the battery will also charge whilst driving, ensuring you have multiple options to keep you powered throughout your trip. There is a 1000W inverter with a double standard 3 pin plug socket and 2 double USB sockets. Parking: If you drive to collect Amalfi, you are welcome to leave your car in her normal spot. If you come by train, we are a short walk from Clifton Down station. Cooking Equipment: Amalfi has all the essentials to cook up your favourite Italian dish. 4 of each - cereal bowls, pasta bowls, small plates, large plates and mugs; cutlery for 4. 2 of each - cups and wine glasses. Kettle, chopping board, frying pan, small and large saucepan, as well as an Omnia stovetop oven. A small set of prep knives, serving spoons, tin opener, corkscrew/bottle opener, colander and washing up equipment. For an additional cost, there is also an option to include the Ooni pizza oven to create the delicious taste of a wood-fired pizza right at home (on wheels). Another optional extra is a pasta-making machine, allowing you to make your very own freshly made pasta for an authentic Italian experience. Water and Sanitation: A 20-litre removable water canister is situated in the cupboard under the sink and supplies drinking water to the sink via a pump. Likewise, a 20-litre removable canister is also situated in the cupboard under the sink for the grey waste, making it easy to dispose of the grey waste and refill the drinking water canister at the same time or when required. A kettle is supplied for making hot drinks or hot water for cooking. A porta-potti toilet is situated inside one of the seats in the living space making it easily accessible and is removable for ease of emptying and cleaning. Audio Equipment: Amalfi has CD player, radio and bluetooth available to play your own music in the cab whilst driving. Type of Heating: Amalfi comes with a diesel heater and underfloor heating to ensure your toes stay toasty and warm whatever the weather. Pet Information: Amalfi accepts a maximum of 2 small dogs so you can bring your canine friends along for the adventure. Conversion Story: We found Amalfi after a short stint of being a drinks delivery van. Having double sliding doors was rare to find on a van, and we knew instantly that Amalfi was destined for better things. She was the perfect size for what we wanted to create - an authentic Amalfi Coast theme with pristine crispness and pastel colours. Amalfi was converted by the wonderful Sam at JamVan Conversions, who has managed to bring our ideas to life.
