About the area: Vanilla Pod is located in Preston, only an hour away from the edges of both the Lake District and Peak District. Description of Beds: The Vanilla Pod comes with a state of the art electric bed that converts into a coffee table, dining table or even a standing desk. The bed and sofa cushions are made from a fully memory foam mattress. The corner sofa transforms into a spacious 150 x 175 cm (almost king-sized) bed. If you chose bedding as an extra, the sheets are made from 100% linen or cotton. Description of Seating: The Vanilla Pod can transport up to three people. Description of Electrical Setup: The Vanilla Pods' set-up allows you to fully immerse yourself in off-grid living. The 180ah leisure batteries are charged with either 240W solar panels, a 240v hook-up cable (with household plug adapter) or while you’re driving via the split relay. The Photographer comes with 4 x 240v plug sockets in living room space and 2 x 240v plug sockets in driving space as well as a Subcold Fridge with freezer compartment. Parking: Hirers are welcome to park their vehicle in a secure private car park. If you come by train and require transport from Preston train station, please select this as an extra. Cooking Equipment: The Vanilla Pod comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a fitted gas hob with 1 burner and a gas bottle. 4 x plates, 4 x bowls, 2 mugs, 2 plastic cups, 2 plastic wine glasses, 16 set of cutlery, 2 standard cooking pans, 1 frying pan, 1 colander, 2 kitchen knives, 1 chopping board, 1 gas kettle, 1 tin opener, 1 corkscrew/bottle opener, 1 washing up bowl, 1 washing up liquid, 1 scrubber, 5 clothes, 1 dustpan and brush, plastic bags for bin and 4 x kitchen towels. Water and Sanitation: The Photographer has no toilet unless you request the standard removable Thetford toilet as an optional extra. There is an extendable shower hose adapter which screws onto the kitchen tap. There is a removable 25L fresh water tank below the sink which provides water to the kitchen tap via a 12v water pump. Audio Equipment: A high quality portable, wireless, bluetooth, waterproof speaker is provided with the van for use in the living area. A standard van Bluetooth or aux radio is provided in the front of the van while you’re driving. Type of Heating: The Vanilla Pod has a diesel heater in the living area as standard.
